It’s a sensual dining experience like no other. When you eat without your sight, your remaining senses are heightened to savour the smell and taste of food. O.NOIR does more than just fire the imagination and stimulate the senses. After a few hours in complete darkness (that’s right, no flashlights, matches, cell phones, cigarette lighters or luminous watches), customers gain a better understanding of what it’s like to be blind just like the restaurants’ entire wait staff. Expérience extraordinaire! C'est comme entré dans un univers jusqu'ici, inconnu. 5 étoiles partout! Seul petit hic: j'ai choisi le plat surprise végétarien & c'était du riz, légumes &...saucisse végé commerciale que j'ai très bien reconnue. Je pense qu'un tofu sauté, Tempeh ou légumineuses auraient été mieux car pour moi, offrir de la nourriture ultra transformée n'a pas sa place dans ce restaurant. Sinon, c'était super! Nous reviendrons! Mention spéciale à Fé, qui est un serveur hors pair! Bravo!

Experience incroyable, absolument unique! C'est pas juste la nourriture qui est delicieux, c'est l'experience d'etre privée de vision pendant plus d'une heure qui est époustouflante! Service rapide & assidu, employé coopératif & aimable. Je recommande cette expérience à tout le monde!

This really is a unique experience. Taking the term "blind tasting" to a whole new level. We were very impressed by everything, start to finish. We did not decide to go with surprise meals. Everything we ordered was delicious. We were both excited for our desserts, but when they arrived, it was the "surprise" option & not the dishes we had selected. We didn't mention it because we felt it would be rude. I highly recommend this restaurant.

It was so loud that it completely detracted from the experience. Hard to savor your food in the dark like that when everyone is so loud. We honestly wanted to leave after our entrees it was so loud. The food was very tasty but the experience was tainted by the noise level. Please encourage your guests to speak in more hushed tones so everyone can enjoy their food.

This has been the most unique & tasteful culinary experience I've been to! A restaurant like no other & they do everything with perfection. Notre serveur Mathieu était vraiment super ! Excellent service, il était clair dans la description de la table & nous demandait régulièrement si ça allait sans trop non plus!
La nourriture était bonne, on a pris les surprises mer & terre. C'est vraiment déroutant au départ mais une fois que tu a tes repères ça va bien !
J'y retournerai avec ma famille c'est certain !

Matthieu was the best, so polite & helpful when we needed him, as was all the staff at the Montréal location! My daughter lost her wallet & phone when she had placed them on her coat pocket & they had them at the front of house! We were A party of six & giggled a lot because we made mistakes in place settings & silverware choices , it was wonderful to be free to be us. The appetizers were delicious. Three of us getting secret land & sea categories. My son who has texture issues was not satisfied with his, but our other two were spectacular. All of our dinner choices were spectacular. So much so that we couldn't finish! Great proportions! I cannot say enough of our waiter. We were louder then most & he was there in less then minutes when one of our patrons needed to use the restroom.
I cannot tell you how happy we were with this experience. We noticed the silence, even though we were loud! The smell!!!! The ability to feel & taste . The aroma of the main courses were outstanding! We left full, happy & having debriefing conversations on the way home. I believe this is the effect you are trying to achieve. We will definitely b bck! The teenagers are already talking about it! & that means you made an impression! Thank you for the best New years dventcI have been to in years. Happy New year!

Visiting from Ontario, loved our experience here! Sammi was our server & was fantastic. The whole experience was very inclusive & accessible, staff were all very welcoming & friendly, food was delicious. Highly recommend!
