Great experience dining in total darkness. The food is generous in portion & quite good. The servers are amazing. The dining room does get a bit loud if its crowded. Getting the surprise dishes is great fun!
This is a true blind eating experience. There is no light at all. You have to lock up any light emitting electronics in a locker with your coat & purse. You can choose your meal & drinks from the menu or you can select surprise food & drinks that do not appear on the menu. We decided to do the surprise options & the meals were fabulous. Everything was very flavorful & the portion sizes were perfect. My oldest son got the 3 courses so he got a surprise starter he thought was lamb on arugula but was actually shrimp on mescaline. His main course turned out to be roast beef not chicken. The boys' dessert was passion fruit & sponge cake not strawberry shortcake like they thought. My youngest son & I ended up with duck with a blueberry sauce which he guessed correctly & I had creme brule for dessert. The service was excellent & our table was mapped out exactly as our server described. It wasn't cheap-$300.00 with drinks, taxes & tip but it was an excellent experience. My youngest son had his misgivings about eating food he couldn't see but he really enjoyed it. It was nice to have a meal where the boys weren't staring at their phones but instead actually talking to me. Perhaps that alone was worth the price.

Loved our experience, I had heard from other people in the past that the food wasn't good, but to be honest, it was genuinely delicious! The portions were big, we were stuffed by the end! & everything was amazing, the flavours & dishes were so good! The best part is picking everything as a surprise, that way you really get to enjoy the experience. I think the price was reasonable for the experience & the quality of the food. Definitely try the cocktails! Make sure you go with someone who you like talking to because it can get awkward in the dark for sure 😂
Very nice concept & experience. Got the full surprise menu, & it's really interesting to taste the food without seeing what you're eating & trying to guess what you got. Definitely recommend for the experience. Only negative is the main course felt a bit overcooked & the cocktail was ok for the prices. That said, still an overall positive experience
This has to be experienced to be appreciated. Our apprehensions about being able to navigate the evening faded quickly as our waiter Sammy led us to our table. We chose the surprise omnivore menu, wine, & cocktail & trying to identify the food added to the experience. This was a great date night & there was no shortage of conversation & no screens to distract us. Loved it.
Incredible experience & delicious food. My husband & I both chose the three course meal & the surprise dishes - he chose sea & I chose complete surprise. The food was delicious, the distraction free setting & mysteriousness of eating in complete darkness was amazing. Our server was wonderful & we had fun guessing what our dishes were with him after the meal was finished.
I had the surprise sea starter, surprise land main, same surprise dessert. 3 friends had some same or opposite orders, food was delicious & it was fun guessing what we were eating, some people with the same surprise theme still got different dishes. I would go again! next time I'd pick my own dessert though 😜

We had an absolutely incredible experience at this restaurant! Dining in complete darkness is something I highly recommend for people to try. We ordered the surprise menu items including surprise mocktails. The flavours of the food & drinks were top notch & the portions were large & filling. Sammy our server, was friendly & did everything he could to make our experience wonderful! He gave clear directions & did everything he could to make us feel comfortable. It was an overall amazing experience & I can't wait to do it again!
Je recommande vraiment cette expérience unique!! Nous avons eu la chance d'être servie par Sammy, il était tout simplement incroyable! Il prenait le temps de s'assurer que tout se passait à notre goût & nous guidait à travers chaque nouvelle étape! L'expérience est vraiment adapter pour tout le monde avec les différents choix de menu surprise, je suis très satisfaite de mon expérience, merci encore :)
Bien entendu, on ne peut avoir de photos de la salle à manger comme telle puisqu'il y fait noir complètement. Si l'idée de vous retrouver dans le noir le temps d'un repas ne vous enchante pas, sachez qu'il y a une terrasse l'été. On vous demande de retirer tout ce qui pourrait créer une lumière ou lueur (aiguilles de montre phosphorescentes, montre intelligente, cellulaire, etc.) Des casiers avec clé sont mis à notre disposition puisqu'on ne peut rien déposer sur la table ou le dossier de la chaise (sac à main, veste, lunettes, etc.) On nous invite à la salle de bain avant le repas. La sélection du menu se fait avant d'entrer dans le noir. La facture se paie à la clarté en sortant. Il y a un mocktail & un repas surprise si on le désire. À la fin du repas, le serveur nous demande de tenter de deviner ce qu'il y avait dans le plat surprise si on l'a choisi. Les plats étaient savoureux. Seul bémol : on dirait que parce que les clients perdent le sens de la vue le temps d'un repas, ils se sentent obligés de parler plus fort. C'était un repas très bruyant.

this is such a unique experience, everyone should do it at least once in their lives! The meal heightens your other senses & encourages you to communicate with your dining partner & the staff. I highly recommend asking for surprises for food & beverages, within your dietary restrictions!
Excellente expérience! Un gros merci à notre serveur Samy. Tout était parfait. Pour notre pars, mon conjoint & moi avons pris un 3 services sur lesquels nous avons décidé de prendre les repas'surprise' mais quel delice sincèrement, un gros OUI.
We have a blessing that we take very lightly! The employees asks us about our experience while it's daily life... God bless them The employees are so friendly, the food is GOOD! Flavorful & the best are the surprise items, you think you know what you're having then it turns out to be something else! A must try & I would go again!
What an amazing experience! If you haven't been, it is a must! The food was dynamite, surprise cocktail was bomb. My 12 year old son enjoyed it too. Server was so polite & personable. Thanks Faye for the awesome experience! Will return again next time I am in Montreal!
Sophia was amaaazing! 10/10 would recommend this experience to everyone, at least once in their lifetime. Food was great, we had the surprise 3 course meal. The only thing we would recommend is having someone explain in detail what we ate after the experience since the whole time we were trying to guess (which was really cool- we were pretty spot on). The portions were really big & very filling. My boyfriend has multiple allergies & they accommodated him perfectly even within the experience!
The concept was fun & i'm happy that i tried it. We also had super good service from the server Fé who guided us well through this experience. However, we didn't really like the food, either it was too salty (surprise salmon starter), too spicy (the salad under the tuna tataki as a starter) or too fatty (surprise earthy dinner at dinner & the beef with potatoes) :(
Ce soir étais ma troisième fois à ce resto après plusieurs années & l'expérience demeure toujours autant agréable. On ne s'y habitue pas je dirais & à chaque fois c'est un état d'émotions intense que l'on ressent durant surtout les premières minutes mais même durant tout le repas. J'ai pris le 3 service , avec le repas principal surprise & cetais succulent. Clairement que j'y retournerai sans aucun doute dans un futur rapprocher.
