Already the rage in Europe, Australia, L.A. and New York, O.NOIR is Canada’s first-ever restaurant that invites you to experience food, drink and conversation like never before IN THE DARK! It’s a sensual dining experience like no other. When you eat without your sight, your remaining senses are heightened to savour the smell and taste of food. O.NOIR does more than just fire the imagination and stimulate the senses. After a few hours in complete darkness (that’s right, no flashlights, matches, cell phones, cigarette lighters or luminous watches), customers gain a better understanding of what it’s like to be blind just like the restaurants’ entire wait staff. The reason I put 3 stars for the atmosphere is because the room was TOO COLD. Other than that, Fe was super professional. I had the surprise starter; it was a mix of warm pie with bloc of cold ham & a balsamic salad. it was too salty on my end.. for the main dish, i ordered the slow cooked roast beef. the beef was perfect, a mix of tender & crispy edge. potato & mushrooms were juicy & flavourful. the vegetables were too soft. The mocktail punch the bunch was bland. It was a cool experience but i wouldn't go back.View more

Super expérience! C'est vrai ce qu'on dit, on ne voit absolument rien! Mais on prend nos repères assez vite :) La nourriture était bonne & au menu, il y a des assiettes surprises qui poussent l'expérience gultative à un autre niveau.View more

Une belle expérience à virtuelle Montréal. La noirceur totale nous permet de mettre le focus sur le goût & l'écoute. Là musique était un petit fort à mon avis . Notre serveur Mathieu était extraordinaire; un service irréprochable. Les plats offerts sont variés & délicieux. On a pris les repas surprise & on était bien surpris. Par contre dans notre expérience , les desserts pourraient être meilleurs ( crème brulée & panacota de fruits rouges). Je recommande fortement essayer ce resto. C'est qui pourrait être mieux, c'est le niveau de confort des chaises, c'est inconfortable après une heure assise .View more

We decided to get the surprise for all courses & do not regret at all, not knowing what you are eating, & trying to figure it out is the best part if you ask me ! I would strongly recommend !

Food,service & overall experience was great.
Unfortunately, a table of people next to us were VERY loud.

A escolha dos pratos é feita em um "bar de entrada", enquanto você aguarda seu garçom. Todos os garçons sao deficientes visuais e te guiarao pelo salao onde absolutamente nao se consegue ver nada (o objetivo é esse mesmo). Há armários para guardar seus pertences. A comida é boa e vale o preço que se cobra. Você deveria visitar pelo menos uma vez na vida. Sugiro que vá sozinho, para tornar a experiência mais intensa. Visita em: nov/2012View more
