Bien entendu, on ne peut avoir de photos de la salle à manger comme telle puisqu'il y fait noir complètement. Si l'idée de vous retrouver dans le noir le temps d'un repas ne vous enchante pas, sachez qu'il y a une terrasse l'été. On vous demande de retirer tout ce qui pourrait créer une lumière ou lueur (aiguilles de montre phosphorescentes, montre intelligente, cellulaire, etc.) Des casiers avec clé sont mis à notre disposition puisqu'on ne peut rien déposer sur la table ou le dossier de la chaise (sac à main, veste, lunettes, etc.) On nous invite à la salle de bain avant le repas. La sélection du menu se fait avant d'entrer dans le noir. La facture se paie à la clarté en sortant. Il y a un mocktail & un repas surprise si on le désire. À la fin du repas, le serveur nous demande de tenter de deviner ce qu'il y avait dans le plat surprise si on l'a choisi. Les plats étaient savoureux. Seul bémol : on dirait que parce que les clients perdent le sens de la vue le temps d'un repas, ils se sentent obligés de parler plus fort. C'était un repas très bruyant.Voir plus

this is such a unique experience, everyone should do it at least once in their lives! The meal heightens your other senses & encourages you to communicate with your dining partner & the staff. I highly recommend asking for surprises for food & beverages, within your dietary restrictions!Voir plus

O'Noir has been on my wishlist for so long when I lived in Toronto. Yet yesterday was underwhelming. The positive side is the unique experience. It made you feel grateful & gratitude to the servers working in a stressful environment. They do take care of the clients well. Check-in for food allergies, telling you where the dishes are positioned, etc. The food was a huge let down. Warm ciabatta & served with butter in the single serving. For starters, I asked for scallops that supposed to come with sprouts & croutons. There's only 3 oily rubbery scallops in the dish along with the sauce on the side. (Their IG shows at least 5 scallops in the reel) I did not taste any Pinot noir from the sauce. The sauce tasted like premade. I made the note to the waiter, but they didn't do anything. I mentioned it again before I leave. They even question me if I really didn't have the sprouts salad with my scallops. My sauce was on the side. The whole dish just 3 scallops & nothing else. My friend & I both ordered the sirloin steak & I asked to switch my mash potatoes to salad. I ordered medium rare & she had medium. The meat portion was huge but overcooked. Mine tasted like medium well & hers was well-done. She said her mash potatoes was really sweet & heavy. The side salad for me was just two bites of greens. The foie gras sauce again tasted like from a jar with no foie gras flavor. Food was definitely on the heavily oily side, but there's no depth in the dishes. Really lack of flavor & layers. The service was slow but I understand they are a bit crowded & understaffed. It actually made me more appreciate with my life. Another note was the tableware & furniture in the dinning room felt very cheap. It gets crowded & squishy in the dinning room. Everyone is sitting very close to each other. When you are already in a heightened awareness mode with your surroundings, those tiny details really just grinds the gear & made the whole experience unsatisfactory. I think one experience is enough for me. I'd like to look on the bright side & be more appreciative in my life.Voir plus

I brought my mom here for Mother's Day & while she was pretty overwhelmed by the experience the service, food, & customer care was out of this world. When you enter, the front of house staff brief you with what you'll need to know before heading back to the dining room & take your order. Once being led back to your seat, the sensory experience really begins. As I mentioned, the food was incredible & portions large. Our waiter, Fay, was AMAZING & went above & beyond to make our dining experience excellent. While my mom ended up feeling a bit claustrophobic & overwhelmed by the sensory overload, we had a good experience overall & I would recommend O.Noir to others:Voir plus
C'était une expérience inoubliable! Les serveurs Mazen & Dominic ont donné un service impeccable. L'hôte à l'entrée (homme aux cheveux noirs) nous a super bien accueilli & nous a bien expliqué le menu & les procédures. 170$ à deux pour 3 services (sans boisson, pourboire inclut) c'est un peu cher, mais c'est pour l'expérience. Seulement, c'était assez bruyant & il faisait très chaud... (La clim ne fonctionnait pas). Niveau nourriture, c'était super bon, les saveurs étaient présentes (les pétoncles, le boeuf & le mi-cuit) & les portions étaient généreuses!Voir plus
This was an absolutely incredible experience! After working for almost 25 years with adults & children with different disabilities, it was amazing to experience first hand the realities that some people face. We are so lucky to have our vision. Gabriel & Fe made this an unforgettable evening. We both Loved our appetizer & dessert, & felt our mains were just ok in comparison (but still good). Highly recommend this restaurant!Voir plus
All I can say is.. if you visit Montreal, you MUST eat here! Prior to our visit I did read some reviews & yes it is a bit chilly inside so make sure you're dressed warm enough so you can enjoy, thankfully I was prepared as I hate being cold. I have to say, it was a different but amazing meal experience. We both order four course meal each which I highly recommend. Our server Fey did a great job guiding us & serving us.
