I finally tried the omakase menu. It was very extensive with a lot of different flavours. Maybe too many flavours for one evening. It was good but not extraordinary. The service for the omakase is long, about 2h. The 13-dish menu comes with unlimited sake (Masumi Shiro white, Yukiotoko Junmai, Ippaku Suisei tokubetsu junmai, Dewa no Yuki kimoto junmai). It was a good experience; however, I prefer choosing from their regular menu what I like to eat. I have been here many times for dinner & really like their sashimi. I recommend this restaurant but you can skip the omakase. This place is small & can get really busy so I recommend reserving ahead.View more
The chef is Japanese. He is truly living his IKIGAI. The food reflects the care & attention he has put into this place. A must if you want to experience a quaint authentic pretentious free Japanese restaurant.View more
Price of a Michelin, quality of a gas station. Sashimi was fishy (in the bad way). One piece of tuna had a long vein attached & the blood was utterly disgusting. Not to mention other annoying details like sticky bowls, hot rice (), cheap sweet sauce, etc. Okay, I've had both high-end omakase & grocery store sushi, & Nozy's food definitely sits on the lower end of the spectrum. I can only say that I'm glad that I did not have the omakase here, because it's ridiculous that a place like this dare to offer people omakase. Maybe they hire chefs from other places just to survive their Saturday nights, haha. I rarely leave reviews because most places have ratings that are justified, or at least informative, in one way or another. But the reviews for this place are very misleading. In summary, if you're a sashimi fan, avoid this place.View more
Great food here, you never run out of options. A lot of rarities you can't get in other restaurants. My first time trying uni was here. They introduce new menu items & specialties often. Also I noticed your website seemed to be hacked? Compromised? It leads to a weird scammy page about winning stuff or the lottery, it wasn't like that before, I hope you can get it fixed. Also noticed the opening hours changed drastically, is there a reason it's only on Mondays now?View more
I recently dined at Nozy restaurant & had their fresh lobster & sashimi. Lobster was perfectly cooked, tender, & flavorful, with a natural sweetness. The presentation was elegant, & the service was excellent. The sashimi is so fresh & tasty. I highly recommend Nozy for an outstanding lobster experience. Truly a seafood lover's delight!View more

Amazing food! The Omakase experience sure is worth it!View more
Price was 150$ per person for the omakase & you can drink as much as you want to try different sake with the multitude of course. The restaurant is pretty small so be sure to book if you want to eat there. Good japanese food that impressed me. It also filled me up pretty well. Since the restaurant is pretty small, the food comes out at the same time for everybody.View more
Authentic Japanese food made with local ingredients (as much as possible). Simple no frill. Great value. Highly recommended.View more
I recently tried the Omakase experience, & while it introduced me to new flavors, overall, it was just okay-nothing particularly special. Despite tasting some unique dishes, the bill was surprisingly over $200, which felt excessive. While the food was good, it didn't quite justify the high price tag. The restaurant itself is quite small, accommodating only a few customers at a time, so it's not ideal for group outings but more suited for intimate dates. On the positive side, the chef was very friendly, & I appreciate supporting local restaurants.View more
Absolutely loved my experience here. One of the best place I've been for Sashimi. Cut were super fresh, service was quick, food was amazing. Can't wait to come backView more
This is honestly one of, if not, my favourite restaurant in Montreal. I went a few times already & it never disappoints. Their Omakase experience was amazing & a really good value considering the sake degustation. I wouldn't necessarily come just for the atmosphere or the service, but the food & quality of the seafood is the star hereView more
Went to this restaurant for my birthday. & the foods were amazing (very authentic). There sakés options were very good. & there yuzu saké was to die for. The staff a super friendly. The ambiance was good & cozy. It was a small restaurant. I forgot to mention that they also offered omasake menu. This is one of the thing that I would come back for it. I highly recommended this authentic Japan restaurant.View more
View more
