Les frites horribles en miettes & brûlées, la viande & les frites sèches & les serveuse pas sympa. Pas de salade pour aider à avaler tout ça & trop de glaçons dans les boisson pour réduire la quantité de boisson. Une fois est déjà trop.

I loved it the first time I went, the food & drinks were good. Second time, I went with someone, she asked if the food was spicy, the waitress said no but it actually was & my friend was not able to eat it. Ok we don't all have the same tolerance so I can understand, but I ordered a drink & there were a couple of flies in it. One I could understand, but more? I'm disappointed. I drinked a sip & saw it after. Still disgusted.

While asking if everything was okay with the service when the waitress notices that there was no tip makes sense, it is rather inappropriate for her to demand an answer & then give nasty looks to patrons afterwards. It's not my problem if your pay isn't enough for you & tipping is a gratuity, not an obligation or reason for personnel to take out their frustration on customers who didn't leave any.

We started coming to Notre-Dame-de-Grâce de Boeuf every once in a while as per my last review below & somehow it quickly became our regular spot. Now we come at least once a week, if not a couple of times a week! 😂

The food is consistently delicious everything is fresh, flavourful, & cooked perfectly. Whether we're in the mood for breakfast or a burger (i get mine in a lettuce wrap instead of bun) or french onion soup with a side of tater tots, we've never left disappointed. The portions are generous, the drinks are great, & the whole atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming & fun. It's the kind of place where you can have an amazing meal but also feel completely comfortable just hanging out & enjoying yourself.

& honestly, the people are what make it even more special. Mike, who works during the week, has become our favourite & has genuinely become a friend. He's always so welcoming, attentive & fun to chat with, & he makes us feel like we're coming to visit someone we know rather than just going out to a restaurant.

& on the weekends, Stephanie is absolutely wonderful. She's so kind, warm & engaging, & always makes us feel welcome. It's obvious that she genuinely cares about the people who come through the door.

If you're on Wellington & haven't been yet, GO!!!! The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is great, & the people are even better!!!
