Food - pita with loose chicken meat was fine, but the chicken souvlaki was chewy & charred on the outside. Will not be coming back for following particular reasons: long wait, lack of service, order errors, rudeness - so unfortunately, a disappointing experience overall.

⭐ 1/5 Stars - Worst Service & Customer Care I Have Ever Experienced.
I go out to restaurants often & I have never experienced anything as awful as our visit to Nostos on L'Acadie.
After waiting an hour for our food, we noticed everyone around us had been served. I got up to ask what happened, & it turned out they completely missed our order. We had to wait another 30 minutes just to finally get our food.
Two people in our group ordered a plate that comes with rice & french fries. The sides never arrived. We chose not to wait any longer by asking for it & expected the bill to reflect the missing items.
After explaining what happened to the waiter he spoke to the owner, then supposedly'modified' the bill, but the amount was still inexplicably the same.
We asked to speak to the owner who took absolutely zero responsibility & never apologized for the 90-minute delay. He actually blamed us, saying it was our fault for not mentioning the missing food sooner! He then raised his voice, arguing that we were complaining over a'few dollars.' When I told him it was the principle of not paying for what we didn't receive & that we would never return, he spitefully changed his mind & said,'Well in that case, I will keep the bill as is & charge you for the full price. WOW!
To top it all off, because they rushed the missed order, the chicken was burnt on the outside & rubbery on the inside.
The owner clearly does not care about his customers leaving happy. Shame on you for treating & talking to your customers the way you did.

To clarify, we never expected a free service. We simply wanted to be billed accordingly. The decision to never return to your establishment stems entirely from the unprofessional manner in which we were treated specifically when you raised your voice at us & you offered absolutely no apology for the mistakes made that evening. While you state that guest satisfaction is your top priority, your actions that evening directly contradicted that claim. Furthermore your highly apologetic online response to my review reflects a standard of customer care that unfortunately does not match the reality of how you handled the situation in person.

Amazing Greek food!! Especially their doner & grill chicken, it's always on point, never disappointed! The owner & his staff are so friendly & professional. Highly recommended this gem! Nostos family keep doing what you're doing, that's why this place is legendary!

Went during rush hour, the place was quite busy & hectic. Ended up getting our order to go. The food was good, & the portions were huge. The Greek chicken was a highlight.

Updated review: I've been coming here since 2016 (9 years now) & it never disappoints. Same great taste, same consistent quality, & always friendly service. Highly recommend the gyro souvlaki & the chicken-juicy, flavorful, & delicious.

The chicken & yero souvlakis are the
tastiest in Montreal...believe me as I tried Marathon's, Marven's, Village Grec, Arahova...Nostos rocks! I also really like their grilled chicken, never dry but always tasty & juicy. Damn, I just got a craving writing about this..lol

I'm a pure foodie I know good food. I also love Greek food so I've been to many Greek restaurants in this city. Hands down this restaurant is in my top 3 & we eat there at least twice a month. The grilled chicken is by far the best you'll get in Montreal. We always order it with a big Greek salad & a plate of rice. The food is fresh, the chicken is off the chain amazing & the service is very good. Definitely 5 stars.
