We have been Nostos clients for many years & there is a few good reasons
Their food is just delicious
The staff is very friendly
The place is kept clean
Even the guy at the cash register is super nice & always smiling to the happy customers
Sometimes we pickup take & sometimes we dine in they are super equipped for both
We dined in this week & ordered the 1/2 chicken meal with fries & salad
The chicken came in a short while & arrived hot along with the fries
The olive oil that they use on their salad is amazing & very tasty & portion size is perfect
The chicken is always very juicy & that extra squeeze of lemon on it adds that zing we like
Their food never disappoints
If you like souvlaki & doner sandwiches you will love theirs
Served on authentic Greek bread not pita
Their tzatziki sauce is amazing just the right amount of garlic
We will be going back again next week for sure

My friend had gyro pita.nice big sandwich I had souvlaki pita thought was a kidy meal 6 little bits of meat 20 25 grams at most was trying to find the meat the cook who made My souvlaki should get fired the smalls souvlaki I had in my life wine forget it tom gore 20$ bottel $55 way over price
All around a great Greek restaurant. Never knew how fresh, real feta cheese tasted until Nostos. Friendly, polite & courteous staff. Oh, one last thing ... Best pita souvlaki ever. 5 ⭐
We love Nostos! The warm welcome & speedy service make every visit a pleasure. The pork pitas are our favorite, the pork is well-cooked & the tzatziki is simply delicious. The fries are perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside & soft on the inside, with a slight sweetness. The small side salad & bread are a lovely addition. If you're looking for a good Greek restaurant in Montreal, don't hesitate to try Nostos, you won't be disappointed!

Hadn't been to Nostos in awhile & we regret it. Hands down best greek food in montreal. The porc gyro is perfectly seasoned. The tzaziki is so tasty. Their pita is not overly thick where you are trying to look for the meat. Well balanced proportionally in other words. The salad is tasty with fresh produce & quality greek olive oil. Oh & those who complain about the fries they are out of their mind. Also they make the best grilled chicken.
Went there for a family dinner. First time but food was really good. Service was great. Took Chicken Gyro pita, Calamari entree & a side of Taramosalata (best I've ever had). Was pleasantly surprised. Would go back. Recommended!
2023 May : Menu / price on website is low, when print bill, price is higher. Menu says PLATE has salad + rice, final delivery did not have salad + rice. Meat in pita is like charcoal, bits of broken pieces, dry, burnt. It is like from raking what was left on the tray, under the gyro cylinder. (take-out) It WAS good before the Covid years....
Second time I go to this restaurant with a cousin of mine. Loved it both times. The pikilia is really good & the portions of tarama & tzatziki are much bigger than I've had at other restaurants. The gyro is delicious & I love their pita bread. Fries are good as well. Our waitress was very nice & accommodating when we asked her not to bring our main meals until we had finished our appetizer. Definitely plan on going back!
Nostos had always been our favorite restaurant for greek food in montreal, but today we were terribly disappointed.
A souvlaki on a pita was very stringy/sinewy & fatty to the point where it was not edible. After seeing the souvlaki still sitting on the plate, & the half chewed marcel of food that couldn't be chewed or swallowed, the waiter asked if there was something wrong. We explained what the problem was & that we couldn't chew through the pieces of meat. He said: "oh".
We also ordered a kalamari plate/dinner: the kalamari looked like white rubber rings. They were completely tasteless & chewy.
We also got no bread with our meal
They were also short staffed, & our waiter had only been working there for two days.
We spoke to the front desk person regarding the meat in the souvlaki, & he responded with a forced "sorry", & a "have a nice day"

Le pita souvlaki était délicieux, avec son tzatziki alléchant & sa bonne salade de feta & d'olives. Le calmar aussi était bon mais je vous déconseille les frites qui sont trop molles & sans saveur.
Néanmoins, le service est agréable, le décor joli & l'ambiance souriante :) & ce n'est pas trop cher!
