I've been going to this bar for the past year & I can't believe I haven't reviewed it yet. The pinball games rotate on a regular basis & if you go during Freeplay events (usually every Sunday & Monday) you get the *best* bang for your buck for vintage pinball gaming in montreal. If you're looking for a retro pinball arcade vibe, Northstar will not steer you wrong. They have a wide selection of games, ranging from vintage to modern eras, with stern pinball machines if that's of any interest for you pinheads :) The first Wednesday of every month is tournament day with beginners being more than welcome! They also have a nice photo booth. The owners are by far one of the friendliest, most accommodating people I have ever met. They truly have gone above & beyond to create a welcoming & accepting atmosphere with a close knit community that's a rare gem to find in Montreal nowadays. The bartenders are all very knowledgeable & will also create the most amazing cocktails & mixed drinks. I would name names but truthfully every single person that works here deserves an individual shoutout & I hope if you go here you find as much enjoyment as I have. I love this bar. Support a local business & the local pinball scene of Montreal & hopefully Ill see you around on a Freeplay day!

On y est allé lors d'un après-midi relax, pour jouer au pinball. Au final, on s'est retrouvé en plein milieu d'un tournoi de pinball... Beaucoup de pros & de mordus présents! C'était chouette! Ambiance rétro réussi! & la variété des machines & leur jolis visuels font que ça vaut le détour. Côté bouffe, je n'ai pas essayé mais ça semble limité. Côté boisson, beaucoup de choix, dont une belle sélection de bières de microbrasserie. Je recommande!

It's the ultimate destination for pinball & drinks. Bruno, the bartender, is welcoming & great company. They offer a superb selection of machines & reasonably priced drinks. I'd definitely return whenever I'm in town. 10/10 recommend!

A really cool pinball arcade! Tokens are 1 per 1$ but if you spend $20 at once, you get 25. Most games are 1-2 tokens, & they have a pretty solid selection, as well as a well stocked bar. It's a great atmosphere altogether!

Knowledgeable & friendly staff with a great selection of classic beers, local products, & in-house cocktails! Plus a great lineup of well-maintained vintage & modern pinball machines. Awesome spot for pinball fans & non-pinball fans alike! Worth a detour :)
