Très petit restaurant asiatique mais étonnamment l'expérience m'a enchanté! Souper en famille de 3. Nous avons essayé les dumpling soup, nouilles Shanghai, général tao & d'autres plats de nouilles faites maison. Tout était excellent! Nous y retournons assurément avec des amis.

Small authentic spot, really delicious food & huge portions. Fast service even though they were very busy.. one major thing they are CASH ONLY.. would be really nice if they had a sign somewhere right out front but we didn't see one.
If you get stuck like we did there is an ATM across the street in the holiday inn
Great spot for quick service sit down. The food was delicious & service was prompt. A small location therefore, the turnaround time to eat & get up is quick. Be aware , it’s only cash- no credit cards

First, let’s try to get a few points across:
1) Yes, it is cash-only. So, either come prepared or skip it.
2) Yes, it is a small restaurant. Therefore, lineups build up easily during peak times.
3) Yes, the service is quick. As a result, lineups may advance fast but, you may feel rushed as well.
4) Yes, the food is good. However, don’t expect it to blow your mind.
Now, depending on how you ponder those points & on how long you waited in line, you will decide if it was worth it or not.
Last, this is not the kind of restaurant to sit down for an hour. It is more for a pit stop or takeout, unless you go when it’s not busy.
One of my favourite dives in Montreal, & my favourite Chinese joint by far. The general tao is the best in town. Service is fast, & the staff will put a grin on your face.
