Very tasty food, & one of the more affordable spots in Chinatown! Lunch runs us about 30$ for two people & is always filling & delicious. It may not serve the BEST dumplings in the area, but we still find ourselves returning for the coziness, comfort food, & low price. Oh, & remember to bring cash!!!

Unassuming restaurant, classic hole-in-the-wall style, with fantastic house noodles! Ordered the #2 hot & sour soup, #12 soup dumplings, & #19 pork & spicy vegetables soup for a fantastic trip down Noodle Road! (cash only)
J'y vais depuis des années & c'est toujours aussi excellent! J'adore les nouilles Shanghai & tous leurs dumplings. Les plats sont copieux & très abordables.
They serve good Chinese dishes. I ordered soup dumplings (pork), chicken fried rice, & noodles with spicy pork. All the dishes were delicious. Their food is not high-end (which is what you'd expect, right?) but it's affordable & delicious-classic American Chinese food. This spot is recommended for hungry tourists who want to try Chinese cuisine."
Worth waiting in line for. The service was quick & the two servers were amazingly on the ball given how packed it was. It's nothing fancy inside, but the food was outstanding. The vegetable dumplings were better than any I've ever had. The dough was somehow almost sweet & the filling was so much more flavourful than at other places. The shrimp har gow was just right & the pork wontons delicious. The Shanghai noodles were good, not mind-blowing, but to be fair, we were pretty stuffed by the time we got to them.
Pretty busy Atmosphere is ok Food was bit oily & lot of turmeric in it But we did like the taste so ok ..! Liked there shrimp dumplings Service is good & quick
I had the most delicious vegetarian dumplings that were reasonably priced. I didn't realize it was cash only so at the end of my meal, the host told me there was an ATM machine around the corner. I went & got cash & came back to pay. the next time I'm visiting in town. I will definitely come back.
Small restaurant with limited seatings so make sure to arrive as soon as they open. Super welcoming staff & food came fast & fresh (noodle & dumplings are my favorites). I've been going here for years & can say that they have cut down on the portion like many other restaurants but it is still super affordable. I usually pay almost double elsewhere for the same amount of food. I strongly suggest to give it a try if you're craving for fast chinese food without breaking your bank.

La soupe Won ton était vraiment bonne, pour les Dumpling ma fille à bien aimé! moi unpeu moin, j'ai trouvé la pâte assez épaisse avec un goût sucré, comme on dit chacun ses goût....

I would give this place 4.5 stars if it were an option. This is a great "hole in the wall" restaurant with fast service & very attentive wait staff. We were served what I'm assuming was cold tap water out of a bottle right away, which was nice to have as soon as we sat down. There was an option to buy canned sodas, but it is not on the menu. We ordered wonton soup, noodles with pork & fried pork dumplings. ALL of the food was EXCELLENT!! Fresh & delicious with just the right seasonings. Loved the chili oil that was brought to the table. Downside, if you don't know ahead of time is that this is CASH ONLY!! They do take US dollars. Also, this is not a place to go if you want to sit for hours & have cocktails with your friends/family. It is small & they move fast. I never felt rushed but it's just not a place that you're going to be hanging out for a long time. We didn't have to wait for a table but I can see how a line could easily back up.
Straight up best Chinese I've had in years. Small spot no frills great staff. The house special friend rice & the the dumplings were so good the spicy oil is on point. Will be back. So good I didn't take pictures.
This Cash-Only micro restaurant is the best economical Chinese food place in Montreal. We had hearty Singapore Noodles, fried rice & dumplings & spent less than 50$
