Nikkei offers dishes created with the best Peruvian ingredients and traditional oriental techniques, leading the taste and preference of Peruvian gastronomy to foreign lands. Our goal is the dissemination of Peruvian-Japanese gastronomy.
As a restaurant, we focus on teamwork, emphasizing personal relationships, motivation and continuous training, ensuring a good working atmosphere for our employees. We contribute to the expansion of Peruvian gastronomy internationally, adding to the strength that this industry has gained in recent years
Nikkei MTL shines as a lively fusion spot where Peruvian and Japanese flavors come together in bright, thoughtful presentations and a creative cocktail program, with many guests calling the food inventive and delicious and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. The bar and service are repeatedly praised for attentiveness and personality, making for memorable evenings at the counter or dining tables. While portions and prices draw mixed notes and a few experiences mention slower pacing or occasional missteps, overall guests leave impressed by the quality, the variety of tapas style dishes, and the standout tasting menus that balance bold flavors with freshness.
The fish dishes were really good, however service was very uneven (waited 20 minutes for our bill) & the other dishes simply tasted of Todarashi. The decor is nice but the crowd is just instagram white girls being loud & obnoxious at most tables.

More concept than execution at this point. Drinks were really good, but food was not great. Some of the produce did not taste totally fresh, & the plates could have had more flavor. The small plates seem to have a good design behind them but need more execution. The atmosphere of the restaurant is fun & the service was good. Could be great place if use fresher produce with more execution at the level of the small plates.
Amazing experience for date night at Nikkei & my first time at this venue. The space is beautiful, with a warm ambiance & great Latin music. My boyfriend & I came to try the tasting menu for the Chochin Matsuri October Event. All six services were deliciously pleasant to the palette, & my favorite dishes were the sushi & curry scallops! I would like to add that we sat at the kitchen bar, & we were perfectly hosted by one of their new Chefs, Leo, who walked us through each course & happily answered my questions as he prepared them. He had the friendliest vibe & recommended my now favorite cocktail, the Dark Feeling. Thank you, Leo, & the staff for a wonderful night!

Bonne adresse pour découvrir une cuisine d'inspiration péruvienne/japonaise. Le cadre est super. Les cocktails très créatifs & excellents. La cuisine est bonne. On regrette juste le manque de diversité dans les assaisonnements & les saveurs.
Brilliant cocktails, excellent tapas, friendly service, great ambiance. Prices on the high side, but worth it as the quality of the ingredients is absolute tops. We really enjoyed & will be back.
