As a restaurant, we focus on teamwork, emphasizing personal relationships, motivation and continuous training, ensuring a good working atmosphere for our employees. Nikkei MTL shines as a lively fusion spot where Peruvian and Japanese flavors come together in bright, thoughtful presentations and a creative cocktail program, with many guests calling the food inventive and delicious and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. The bar and service are repeatedly praised for attentiveness and personality, making for memorable evenings at the counter or dining tables. While portions and prices draw mixed notes and a few experiences mention slower pacing or occasional missteps, overall guests leave impressed by the quality, the variety of tapas style dishes, and the standout tasting menus that balance bold flavors with freshness.
Expensive, but I would do it again for an occasion! The tartare & ceviche were to die for. Of course take into consideration it's mostly uncooked, but there are some warm food options.
The food was ok, but nothing to make an impression or recommend/come back. The meat skewers were super salty, barely could feel another flavor. Drinks also took quite a while, & there was a huge delay between dishes to the point we thought they didn't put the order in. the restaurant it's quite pretentious, which wouldn't be bad on itself, but definitely do not recommend at this price tag. there are many restaurants with far better food & drinks, & even for less than half the price

A truly fine dining experience. The decor is amazing! Food elegantly plated & very tasty. Refreshing & surprising mix of culinary cultures (Japan & Peru) Will go back for sure!
I would say this is my second time coming I loved it since the first time, the first time was better than this second experience the Mini hamburgers were overcooked, I was going to buy the tiradito of duck but they change the menu & I tried the salmon instead, then we tried the lomo saltado that is the winner! That one is really good, you can taste it better with the yam egg they put on top, service was really good, there is one waiter who speak English French & Spanish he is really friendly.
