Try out this Gem! Good sized cocktail list filled with spins on your classics, signatures, & seasonal specials. Just wish I could have tried them all. Each one was unique & delicious! Our server, Emma, helped us out with our food selections & nothing disappointed. No lack of presentation or flavour. So many amazing smells coming from the kitchen. Great food, great people, great ambiance. Incredible cocktails by Chami!

This was my first encounter with such a fusion, & it was nothing short of revelatory, setting Nikkei MTL apart from more traditional dining experiences. The ambiance of the restaurant complements the exceptional dining experience. It's inviting & pleasantly atmospheric, striking the perfect balance between sophistication & comfort. Furthermore, the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality on offer, ensuring that guests can indulge in this unique culinary journey without reserve. A significant part of what makes Nikkei MTL so special, however, is the people. The waitstaff & bartenders exude friendliness & professionalism, contributing significantly to the overall experience with their attentive & knowledgeable service. Notre expérience au Nikkei a été absolument exceptionnelle! Nous étions un groupe de 6 amis & avons prit le menu découverte & tout était si frais & délicieux. Tout était à partager & chaque plat était unique. Les cocktails étaient supers bons & trop beaux. & quoi dire du service: excellent! On s'est sentis tellement bien accueilli par leur gentillesse & leur générosité (shots pisco sour on the house). Je recommande fortement ce restaurant ☺️

A great spot for an interesting night out! Cool vibe, very pleasant & efficient staff, really interesting cocktails (& mocktails!), & unique tapas style plates. Some of the plates were almost too big to be called tapas, but that's not a complaint. The ceviche was a real highlight for everyone at our table. Definitely one to try!

AWEsome cocktails & FABulous food ! Great service & nice ambiance/decor with music & lighting at the right level.
Awaken your senses of sight, smell & taste by the presentation, odour & unique flavour profiles at just the right amount of heat.

Un des meilleurs repas que nous avons mangé. Le tartare de filet mignon, en particulier, est à faire rêver! Vraiment une nourriture unique & excellente, & des cocktails imaginatifs, pas donnés mais qui valent leur prix.
Deux petits bémols:
- service un peu rapide, il est donc préférable de ne pas commander tous les plats au même moment si on veut faire durer le plaisir.
- nous avons une petite "crotte sur le coeur" de se faire imposer un minimum de 18% de pourboire par le système de paiement; le service était bien, mais pour une facture de 400$ pour trois personnes avec la moitié en alcool, l'option de 15% (qui est tout de même 18% compte tenu du calcul par dessus les taxes!) est déjà un bon pourboire. On ne manque pas de sensibilité envers les serveurs & les travailleurs en restauration (on en fait partie!); il faut simplement être sensible à la réalité des gens si vous voulez qu'ils reviennent sans sentir de malaise.
L'ambiance est un peu trop bruyante. Les plats sont bien mais on mange uniquement de la viande pas de légumes. Les serveurs sont très sympathiques mais il y a eu des erreurs dans nos commandes
