Currently at this restaurant. Took 10 minutes to get a menu as one waitress saw me & she never came to see me. I had to get up & asked for service. Then another waitress finally came & I told her about the wait & lack of service. No apology, nothing. Her only reply was''well I'm here now''. I get my meal by another waitress & realized my glass of water was not there as per my order. I get up once more & ask for the glass of water. I go there at least once a week (twice in the last few days) I will now reconsider going to that branch. I never write reviews but I felt this time I had to. I am very disappointed.

Toujours un excellent service avec Chantal. La nourriture est excellente & les prix sont très bon.

Tasse à café sale. Degrés de cuisson demande non respecté (médium saignant). Serveur un peu impoli. Sinon la nourriture est en générale très bonne. (Sauf cuisson de la pièce de viande). Réduction des portions constaté ce 20mai

Première fois chez Nickels, j'ai adoré mon expérience, la nourriture est bonne & le service était très bon & rapide ! La serveuse était attentionnée au moindre détail. Merci Ashley pour ce bon service!

Smoke-meat bon.. mais le pain laisse (fortement) à désiré .. sec impossible de maintenir la sandwich sans qu'elle brise en morceaux.. décevant..
Mais Chantal donne un très bon service.. & très gentille..A+

Took my wife & mother in law for dinner at the St. Laurent restaurant. Their smoked meat sandwiches were good except the top slice of rye bread on both sandwiches was 1 inch wide versus the normal sized rye bread. Had to flag down the waitress to get more rye bread so they couldhold the meat in the sandwich.
After ordering a draft beer for myself the waitress came back & said that they only had 2 drafts neither of whichi wanted, so i ordered a bottle instead. I ordered a rueben smoked meat which was supposed to have sauerkraut & Russian dressing. It came with fried onions & brown gravy instead. Really disappointing.
Will be going somewhere else for smoked meat from now on.

Today on 25/10/2024, breakfast was perfect woth maybe only 1 flaws. Not enough potatoes, but everything was perfect & tasted realy good. I gave 3 stars instead of 4 but for the service only. Instead of put the plate in front of me she put it aside so i had to bring ot in front of me, the toast was away & had to bring it closer to my plate. But the most important, i didnt feel i was welcome there, maybe because of my last critics. But today, no smile a short bonjour, looking at me like a little attitude. Maybe not her best day but it can get worse. So i recommend de breakfast but not the service.

On va brancher là chaque semaine, service rapide & courtois, le café servi rapidement, bonne bouffe pour ce qui est des déjeuner, à visiter, pas besoin de faire la file. Je recommande !

The old girl's gone straight downhill in 2 years. Stained ceilings everywhere, poor service, wouldn't consider a request for a sandwich. One in our party asked for bacon & eggs & was told breakfast was over at 11 am, sorry.

Go there often over the years but ordered for delivery twice & both times the food was not fresh. The fries were really dark & dry couldn't eat them & the fish was over cooked & dry. So disappointed.
