What a cute place to eat! It has such a fun throwback vibe, & everything was very clean. The service was great, especially considering there was only one server when we visited. She was friendly, attentive, & did a great job.
As for the food, it wasn't my favorite. It felt more like typical fast food than I was expecting. The burger lacked flavor, & I wouldn't order it again. I did enjoy the poutine, though! The wings were a good size, but they weren't very flavorful either.
Overall, I loved the atmosphere & the service, but unfortunately the food didn't live up to my expectations, so I don't think I'll be going back.
La poutine québécoise est bonne (& pas très santé). La qualité du service est très correcte. L'espace entre la banquette & la table ou nous étions installés était minuscule. Je crois que c'était une table pour enfants. Je recommande l'endroit.

The poutine was horrible & the fountain coke a joke, half ice ...

At first, everything seemed perfect. The food was tasty, & our waitress Josianne was friendly, attentive, & made us feel very welcome. We ordered the entrecôte & fish & chips + poutine. The dessert, gâteau praliné, was really good too & Josianne even gave us the name of the distributor, which we appreciated. Additionally, we were impressed by how fast the service was!
But unfortunately, things took a turn. We saw mice running around the restaurant, which was really disturbing & made us question the hygiene standards. Someone, possibly the manager, did come over to apologize for that. But for a restaurant, the presence of mice is simply unacceptable.
Then, when it was time to pay, we found out they weren't accepting gift cards due to a'technical issue.' We only learned this at the end of the meal, which was frustrating, especially since it seems the issue has been ongoing. There was no prior notice, which felt misleading & disappointing.
Overall, the experience left us disappointed. We don't recommend this location & probably won't return anytime soon.
The food was fantastic but we were given a hard time by the waitress because we wanted to share our dish. I simply wanted to enjoy the burger & my partner only wanted poutine. I didn't want to waste the extra fries that would have come with my burger as a separate dish
She said she would have to charge us a'sharing fee' of 4 dollars if my partner ate some of my food & that it's restaurant policy. I didn't like to be policed in such a way so I won't be back.
Un peut déçus de ma margarita, il y avait beaucoup de glace. J'ai pris sandwich au poulet, je pensais que Hot sauce voulait dire sauce piquante, pas du tout, ça ressemblait à de la sauce poutine, j étais un peut déçus, il n'y avait pas beaucoup de saveur. Sinon le service était correct
Hey boy comment on peut dire que c'est une place à Smoke Meat même pas capable de couper au couteau égale beaucoup de tranche très très épaisse si je voulais manger un steak j'aurais prit sa & non un jumbo comme sandwich!! Ma femme prend une poutine ordinaire je croix que la salière dans la sauce
21$ (avec tip) pour une poutine régulière extra fromage. Très très salée, fromage pas du tout frais, & ça paraissait pas que c'était une extra. Les frites étaient bonnes par contre, & le service correct, juste un peu lent. Le décor n'a pas changé depuis l'ouverture j'en suis presque certain. Cadres jaunis, cuirette partout, que des personnes âgées. C'est ce à quoi je m'attendais par contre. J'étais juste vraiment déçu de ma poutine, à ce prix là en plus.
J'ai beaucoup aimé ma poutine italienne & ma fille a mangé un Mac&cheese que j'aurais dû manger aussi. Elle a bien aimé. Le service était bon, la serveuse très gentille & polie & l'attente pour les assiettes n'était pas longue. Pour l'ambiance, c'était un peu trop bruyant & beaucoup de gens utilisaient leurs téléphones. Mais en général, j'ai bien aimé ma visite.
