As someone who's ethnically Vietnamese, I was super excited to try this place. Especially since I saw it highly recommended as a (Vietnamese) speakeasy. & while I appreciated the location, decor, & decor -- I felt the service & drinks were under par. I also appreciated the live DJ, but I think I was hoping for a more speak'easy' vibe. I can see how this is a highly rated experience for some people though!View more

The DJs really know how to curate a vibe, incredible track choices if you're into house/techno. The Moscow Mules were great & all the staff were accommodating. One of my favourite spots in the city - highly recommended!View more

The speakeasy vibe makes you forget you're in the cold Montreal. We loved it! The exotic scents, dim lights, decor & staff - all have you believe you're some place in Asia. The drinks are divine, & the staff is top-notch - courteous, making sure everything is perfect & everyone is content. Would go back in an heart beat.View more

The staff was friendly, attentive, & knowledgeable, making us feel welcomed & well-taken care of throughout the evening. While the overall ambiance of Nhậu Bar was energetic & fitting for a night out, the temperature inside was notably warm. A slightly cooler environment would have made the experience more comfortable, especially when the bar gets crowded. The music selection at Nhậu Bar deserves special mention. Super cute bar, does start feeling like a club after 11 pm ish (they brought out a fog machine & blasted music). Our bartender Matthias was awesome. The food here was really good I just wouldn’t recommend the pandan cocktail cause the froth was really weird. Honestly the best bar with the best vibes in montreal. All of the staff were super friendly.View more
