EXTREMELY OVERCROWDED !!! I've been to 3 shows at New City Gas & all 3 of them were way too crowded. I've been to sold out shows in other venues & none of them were as crowded as this place. Plus the staff was very rude & impatient because they wanted us to move to keep certain areas clear (which normally I'd understand for safety & other reasons) but there was literally no room for us to move. If they bring down the number of people they let in I'd come back but for now I'll pass. It's a shame cause New City Gas brings in really good artists I'd love to see, plus they have a great sound system & a great stage with screens & lights but it's not worth seeing these shows with the overcrowded experience you get.View more

Looks like the owners went to Bali once & were sooooo inspired. overzealous security going through all of your bags, & pat downs. The bathroom is genderless & looks like an aesop store, which is why this review has any stars at all.View more
