Must-visit Montréal restaurant. My wife & I are visiting from Florida & visited Name's On The Way for dinner our second night in town. The restaurant is in a beautiful, clean area, & when we arrived at around 7:30 on a Saturday evening we felt as if we struck gold as it was not yet slammed. Our waiter, Carlo, was incredibly personable & helped us pick out an excellent red wine & meal sequence for the night. My wife & I shared Jalapeno Popper, Sourdough Oysters, Spicy Honey Wings, & closed the meal with the Lemon Pound Cake. Every item we had was executed in such a unique & complementary way that helped move the meal forward. My wife & I agreed that the Poppers, Wings, & Pound Cake were of particular note. Throughout the night, we interacted with Carlo & the GM, Dominic, & I can confidently say there's not been many times I've been to a restaurant & felt so welcomed by the staff & environment. The space was incredibly comfortable & thoughtfully designed, & the entire staff (namely Carlo & Dominic) set a new standard for what hospitality looks like in a restaurant setting. From my understanding N.O.T.W. is more known for their bar & late night scene, but it won't be like that for long. Their dinner program is a force to be reckoned with!View more

This is arguably the best place to go out in Montreal on any day of the weekend. The staff are incredible, the ambiance is even better, the DJs are always curating the best vibes & playing off the energy of the crowd. If you want to come for a bite with your friends you will be blown away by the amazing hospitality & the quality food & service that will transcend you into another realm. Really cute environment for a birthday party or catching up with friends. However, the food is not its highlight. The martinis were excellent at 7$ each on Thursdays. We enjoyed the beef tartare & the arrosticinis. The focaccia is delicious - we ordered it 2x. The poireaux was good too but a very small portion. The salade fraîche was ok & the Crudo was too fishy for my taste.View more

J'ai récemment eu l'occasion de dîner dans un charmant restaurant à Montréal & j'en garde une impression globalement positive, méritant une note de 4 étoiles sur 5. Tout d'abord, le décor du restaurant est agréable & bien conçu, offrant une atmosphère accueillante & soignée. Quant à la nourriture, elle se distingue par sa fraîcheur & sa qualité. Les plats sont bons & témoignent d'un effort notable en matière d'originalité culinaire. Mention spéciale pour le plat de pâtes aux crevettes qui a véritablement été un coup de coeur. Cependant, un aspect pourrait être amélioré : l'ambiance & le service à la clientèle. Lors de notre visite, aux alentours de 18h30, l'accueil & les interactions avec le personnel étaient un peu froids & très transactionnels, notamment lors des questions sur le menu & les conseils. Cela a quelque peu atténué l'expérience globale. Peut-être est-ce lié à l'heure de notre arrivée, un moment où l'ambiance est encore en train de se mettre en place. En dépit de ce petit bémol, je recommande vivement ce restaurant pour la qualité de sa cuisine & son cadre agréable. Un petit ajustement du service à la clientèle pourrait le rendre encore plus accueillant & chaleureux.View more

C'est malheureusement tellement bruyant avec les employé qui jettent de la glace dans les éviers à 50cm de nos oreilles. Assis au bar, on ne pouvait pas discuter & donc on a décidé de partir pour aller ailleurs après un verre. Il faudrait faire quelque chose pour la réverbération du bruit dans le local: toutes les surfaces sont dures & réfléchissantes! Nous avons aussi attendu 20 minutes malgré une réservation pour pouvoir s'assoir.View more
