Phenomenal cocktails! I always take the weekly or monthly special & I'm always impressed. I highly recommend attending the weekly event' Comedy on mackay' in the room in the back organized by Tina, she's a good host & the show are always funny 😁
Never seen such discompassionate human beings. we came out of the club out of the other side of the street & asked to wait in the hallway after our uber cancelled & it was freezing cold outside. there was plenty of people already in the bar & the woman said we couldn't even wait in the hallway. what a crazy disregard for human life. we could have got hypothermia by the rigid cold. made me sick another human being could treat someone like that
This is one of my favourite places to go when I want to wind down from my work & also see a comedy show! It's really close, near the Guy-Concordia station in a cozy spot on Rue Mackay. All of the bartenders are great & they all know you by name, which makes it really personal They also have a really great comedy night on Tuesdays that features a variety of local Montreal comedians & occasional famous person.
What I love is that they take risks with experimenting with different types of cocktails each week, often offering them as specials. They have this new cocktail called'noire & epice' which is a type of pumpkin spice espresso martini that I HIGHLY recommend.

We arrived close to suppertime, & the place was quiet, which made for a calm & relaxed atmosphere. The space itself is quite inviting - the decor is a tasteful mix of modern & classic touches, with warm lighting & comfortable seating that makes it easy to settle in & enjoy a conversation.
The bartender was friendly, welcoming, & attentive without being intrusive, which added to the relaxed vibe. The beers were cold & refreshing, exactly what I was hoping for after a long day. It's the kind of place that feels low-pressure, where you can unwind, catch up with friends, & enjoy a few drinks without feeling rushed.
Overall, NsurMackay made a very good first impression. The combination of the inviting decor, attentive service, & quality drinks makes it a spot I'd happily return to. It's ideal for casual meetups or just a quiet evening out to enjoy a couple of cold beers & good company.

This is where you should go. Exactly what a bar should be. Such lovely staff & amazing choice of drinks. Tell them to chill their gin though. A truly special place.
