The coffee is great, & the staff are friendly. But why is tipping at takeout counters still expected? Between high income taxes & sales tax on food & drinks, the cost keeps climbing. A simple cup of coffee can end up costing $7.50-8.50 with a tip, which feels excessive. If you choose not to tip but visit regularly, it can also become uncomfortable because there often seems to be an expectation that customers will tip every time.

One of the best, smooth, & delicious coffees in Montreal. Quality beans. The prices are on the higher end but worth it. They also have yummy pastries. Try pistachio babka & almond croissant. Staff is kind & welcoming. The cafe is located inside the metro. There is no sitting area. I wish they had actually coffee shop. My favorite drinks are oat milk latter & cappuccino. Oh, & try their latte with macadamia milk.

I love this little coffee shop. They use good-quality coffee beans, have a wide variety of non-dairy milks, & their scones are to die for. Staff is always kind & efficient too. I think this place is definitely worth a detour if you're in the downtown/ McGill metro area.

Their latte just hit the spot for amateur of coffee. A bit less traditional, it has a bit of fruitiness without losing its balance & they know how to correctly steam the milk
(which is not always a given, sadly)
Would recommend to anyone except Starbucks fans ;)

Staff was super nice & attentive to my allergies, coffee was really smooth & palatable even for someone who doesn't drink coffee often. Very nice vibes :)

Un endroit qui paye pas de mine mais qu'on adore ! Les gourmandises sont toutes excellentes (surtout les scones 🥰), service rapide & gens sympa. Tout ce qu'il faut pour débuter sa journée en sortant du métro avec un ti'café.
