Avis pour My Canh

pho(27) soup(18) vietnamese(9) broth(9) authentic(5) beef(5) roll(5) pork(5) chinatown(5) vietnamienne(4) rice(4) family(4)I love going to My Canh when I am in Montreal. It's really what you can expect of a vietnamese family restaurant! The decor could use a refresh but the food needs no improvement! It's perfect. I had the banh xeo for once. It was crispy, coconutty & not too oily. They can only make it when the restaurant is not too busy since it's a giant affair but don't skip if it's possible! I also got a bun with pork (so sweet & crispy!!) & spring rolls.
Maten her var sa sykt god, stemningen var fantastisk, med en gang vi kom inn ble vi hilst pa av eieren, som var sykt hyggelig og morsom. nomnom
Walked in the server called me a princess, but after eating here i turned into a pig from stuffing myself with the delicous food here. The service was fast, the food AMAZING, & the workers were super nice! 11/10 would go out rolling here again.
Très bonne cuisine & service. Mais le resto a besoin de rénovations pour être plus accueillant.
Hole in the wall restaurant run by 2 adorable grumpy old men. Come for the tasty food, nothing else.
Delicious & unique Vietnamese dishes that I have not seen elsewhere. Owner was also very nice despite our limited communication. Would recommend for an affordable & hearty meal in the area!
I visited during a layover in Montreal looking for something quick for lunch. I enjoyed my food! I believe I had #39 vermicelli, with the lemongrass beef. It was pretty good & I'd order it again for sure. The shrimp rice rolls were also pretty good, & I like the cane sugar juice. It was a bit sweet & the waiter was very kind when I asked for some limes. I wasn't wowed hence the 4 out of 5, but I'd definitely come back in the future.
One of my favourite Pho places I go to whenever I am in Montreal! I was introduced to come here more than a year ago, & this is where I go for Pho if I have any cravings. I've introduced so many people to this location & they love it. The service is very prompt, very nice people, cash or debit only but have atm right by the entrance if needed. It starts getting busy around lunch time. The broth is so rich, noodles are perfectly chewy, & a lot of portions for Large or XL (only a dollar difference). It warms me up perfectly during a cold winter day. I wish they had a similar location in Ontario too. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to get good Pho!
Plats délicieux & authentiques. J'ai apprécié le pho ga. Famille sympathique qui gère le resto. Je recommande!
Authentic Vietnamese food. They don't speak English but the menu is understandable. Delicious pho, general tao chicken & rolls? 🤤🤤
Repas savoureux & économiques. Restaurant sans prétentions. Service en anglais. Je recommande.
Un de mes incontournables du quartier chinois. Le menu est varié & les assiettes sont généreuses.
Bun Oc (Vietnamese Escargot Noodle Soup) originated in Hanoi, Vietnam. It is a vermicelli rice noodle soup with a tomato-based broth made from slowly simmering chicken & pork bones. It is topped with the infamous escargot
Times are hard at Pho My Canh. Debit card only or cash. XL pho looking like the L of other places but at XL prices. Interior decor needs some desperate love to elevate the spot to the level of PhoMC Brossard (are they the same franchise/owner or not?) The place still serves tasty food but so does the similar priced competition in drastically better settings unfortunately. I don't believe I'll be back unless something is done. Feels like it's on its last leg. So many great memories from that spot. They need better cost cutting practices like either reducing the menu or something. I'd normally leave a 4 to signal the business it needs work but this barely gets to it & urgently needs attention.
