Firstly, the lady working here was really nice & provided quick service. The taste of the onigiris were ok, but the value was lacking. Each onigiri was quite pricey (between 6-7$ each, & was mostly filled with rice & very little of everything else. I was very excited for the ebi tempura onigiri, but it only turned out to be one ebi tempura on top & the rest was just rice. The salmon onigiri was disappointing as it was just cooked, shredded salmon & quite plain (again, mostly rice). The tuna was the best. It was cooked tuna similar to canned tuna, but more innovative & had a great sauce. I didn't get to try the drinks but they looked very interesting. As much as I love supporting local businesses, I hope they would consider adding more filling inside the onigiri.

Wow I'm shocked at the lack of protein in the onigiri here. I paid over $50 for 4 onigiri, matcha & a soda. One tiny shrimp at the top of the ebi onigiri... Let's say I feel ripped off & I regret buying from here. The taste is fine but it the value is not there.

This is a stall at Jean Talon Market. Not in the place Google map indicated in the lane of boites de huitres but beside Casa di Toto stall. Very generous sized onigiri & fairly tasty.

The market itself is fairly loud..

Went here & ordered a tuna & salmon onigiri. Wow, I gotta say they packed a lot of food into this onigiri making this a great value buy. Probably the best value in the entire place. The fish was delicious & the flavour very yummy. My daughter loved her salmon onigiri. Full marks from me.

As someone with Japanese heritage, eating this onigiri brought tears to my eyes. The taste was so familiar & comforting, reminding me of cherished memories & authentic flavors from my childhood. Yet at the same time, it had something special all its own.

The rice was perfectly prepared, the filling was delicious, & every bite reflected the care & quality that went into making it. Simple, authentic, & incredibly satisfying. This was one of the best onigiri experiences I've had outside of Japan.

What made the experience even more special was the thoughtful service. I mentioned that I was hoping for some hot green tea, & she kindly offered to warm up a bottled green tea for me. It turned out to be the perfect accompaniment to my meal & was exactly what I was looking for. That small gesture made me feel genuinely cared for & added to the warmth of the entire experience.

Absolutely delicious food, wonderful hospitality, & an experience I won't forget. I cannot wait to come back.
