The flavor does not taste like authentic matcha, but more like a green tea blend you can easily find elsewhere. The star is for the latte art & atmosphere.View more
Stayed at a hotel 5 mins away (fate??) & obviously dragged my boyfriend here. The latte art was even cuter in person, the portions were huge, & the whole place felt like a warm hug.View more
Super cute cafe in a great area. The whole cafe is decorated in Totoro! They also have quick service with yummy fresh food. Simple ingredients nothing too crazy. My caramel macchiato also came with latte art!View more
Visited this adorable café during a trip to Montreal & absolutely loved it!
We went on a weekday & got a table right away. The food was delicious, the service was efficient & friendly, & the latte art was seriously impressive. A cozy little spot that's definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!View more
Super cute cafe & great latte art in Vieux Port. Loved the crepe & sandwiches. Had a great time here with Totoro everywhere!View more
Cute & small cafe, not many seats available so there could be some wait time depending on the day. Food was ok, great staff very welcoming & cute latte art, that's the gimmick of the place.View more
The latter art is amazing!!! I have not found a place in the US that has the artistic ability to create these adorable lattes. & the flavors… PERFECT!View more
TOTORO themed cafe! とてもかわいい!The crepes were really flavourful. We tried the Chicken white wine crepe, & the Banana Brulee. So good!! The drinks were also really good. Nice touch with the totoro latte art!View more
This is the BEST place for breakfast/brunch/lunch in the world. The staff is so kind & attentive. Not to mention, super talented with the latte art. Every single thing I got from the menu was soooooo good. You can't go wrong with anything. Merci beaucoup, Emily!View more
Everyone else's latte art is that Totoro chinchilla, & I got this angry hamster 😂 my husband always calls me an angry hamster, what a coincidence 😃😂 nice food & atmosphere!View more
Went here on the final day of my trip to Montreal. It was really pleasant, my friend had recommended the place & the first thing I noticed was the decor. As a fan of Ghibli I really enjoyed a lot of the My Neighbor Totoro decorations. As for the food, it was my first time having a crepe & I really found it delicious. The M12 was packed which allowed me to taste almost all of the ingredients. Their matcha latte was also pretty good & I liked seeing latte art in person for the first time lol. If I ever come back to Montreal, I'd take my friends here, it was really good.View more
For Totoro Fans, Muru is a must visit! The cafe is colorful, cute & cozy with themed art from Studio Ghibli's Totoro. We reached the cafe at 1.40pm in the afternoon & they close at 2.30pm. & so, the kitchen wasn't taking any more food orders but we ended up getting an iced coffee, just to spend time with the little Totoro-world in Montreal. We weren't disappointed. The staff is warm, friendly & accommodating. We will come back for the crepe!View more
Great place for a lunch date, we tried their Crêpe Crème Brûlée & it was excellent. You could share it but you may not want to. We liked the Studio Ghibli theme especially the castle in the sky art. The service was great for french & english speakers, didnt wait long for a seat, a hidden gem of the city.View more

A cute little Totoro themed cafe right near the port of Montreal. Food was AMAZING. We both got the croque poulet & the maple latte. Latte art was also Totoro themed & the staff was extremely friendly. Definitely worth a visit.View more
Adorable little cafe in Old Montreal. Studio Ghibli themed - which added to the cuteness of it. For a seemingly small cafe, the maple latte & breakfast ordered blew me away. I ordered just two eggs with bacon & toast, but the breakfast potatoes were just fantastic. & the maple latte, complete with the cutest latte art I've ever received, was out of this world. We loved it so much we tried to go back the next day, only to see they were closed! Amazing visit, excited to return to Montreal to stop in again.View more
Fun little place in a great location! The crepe & the bacon, eggs & potato plate were all lovely & very worth the price. The Chai was the only miss of the breakfast as it did not have much flavor & mostly resembled cinnamon milk, but that happens. Also loved the Studio Ghibli decor. I did notice a severe lack of Princess Mononoke, which is criminal, but I'll let it slide because of the Totoro latte art.View more
Cappuccino & matcha latté were good. (Requested for a totoro art, & I got it, hehehe 💜💜) super duper cute place, a bit tight but cozy enough to enjoy your food & drink. Omg, creme Brule crepe is a must try!!!! It was delicious 😋 😍 Will definitely bring some friends to try other crepes, hehe 😎👍View more
We had brunch for two on a Saturday & it was absolutely perfect. Location: Parking is not always easy to find in this area so you might have a more pleasant experience by taking the metro; you should stop at Champs de Mars metro (orange line) & walk around 8 minutes. It is in a beautiful part of the city, in the old Montréal vicinity, so the walk there is very pleasant. *There are some streets with upward slopes in that area, so on a wintery slippery day you might consider a side street or postponing your visit instead. Food: We started with lattes (rose latte) & it was good enough; the presentation was the best part, served in a cute cup & with latte art. We also ordered the breakfast crepes & it was very tasty. There are good vegetarian options (goat cheese, mushroom, potatoes, eggs, salad, fruit etc) so you can skip meat easily if that's your dietary preference. We also ordered their famous crème brulée crepe as dessert & it was a delicious & a truly perfect way to end the meal. It was not overly sweet & the portion was quite generous. Service: The service was 10/10; staff was kind, helpful & quite fast, given how busy the cafe is (the flow of clients was constant & they were so efficient!). I will definitely come again.View more
I went with my best friends!! We sat next to a giant Totoro plushie. The lattes & drinks had cute little art & the decoration of the place was amazing. The waiter was quick & kind & the wait to get in wasn't too long. The crepes were delicious but not the best I've ever had, but if you're walking in expecting a crepe that's exactly what you'll get :) I recommend the three cheese salty crepeView more
