There is a reason why the reviews have nothing less than a 5 star rating!! It is not often I feel the need to review, but it has been quite a while since I have been floored by the overall experience from a restaurant. The tasting menu is an absolute must; you truly get your money's worth. Being a group of 5 we were treated to a sampling of almost everything on their menu & everything was simply amazing. The burrata with the ground cherry jam was "lick your plate" that good. The beef tartare was fresh & better with each bite. The homemade pasta choices were each innovative & delectable... we needed to ask for more bread to scoop up all the sauce! Next came the 3 choices of meat & the moooo in Mucca really showed itself. The platters of meat were out of this world delicious & cooked to perfection. Even the side of greens & mashed potatoes were simply devine infused with garlic & herbs. At this point we were stuffed to the rim & couldn't imagine dessert being even better. The lemon tiramisu was absolutely everything (& this coming from someone who usually doesn't like citrus desserts & knows a good tiramisu when she sees one). The gelato flavours were apple pie & mojito reincarnated. & the ricotta cheesecake was delicate & so fluffy. If the food wasn't enough, the service & ambience were also top notch quality. After every serving, all cutlery & plates were replaced & our glasses were never emptied.. the attention to detail did not go unnoticed; these people know how to deliver an experience. The music they had going was every best song I wanted to hear & I really need their playlist now! The owner was a true delight & you can tell that this is her passion; serving & doing food exceptionally well without it being pretentious. We will definitely be back!
We absolutely loved our experience at Mucca! The menu is set up really well to share or not. We chose to share & we were all happy we did, as we got to take more of their delicious menu items. My husband isn't usually a fan of sharing, but truly enjoyed it here! The wine selection, was unusual, but the waitress guided us through it & we were very happy with the wine chosen. Lastly, the service was impeccable - (not always the case these days, so it was an added bonus to an already fun evening.) I will go back again with more friends. It's a great evening out.
Excellent sur toute la ligne, sauf que j'aurais dû lire le menu plus en détail, car le boeuf est vraiment le mets principal, plus un plat de pates & un gnocchi.
Ceci étant dit, nos antipastis avec tapenade d'olives, & tagliatelles à l'esturgeon fumé, ainsi que le tiramisu aux agrumes étaient sans reproche. Meme chose pour le Rosemont en apéro, & le Chianti. Service A+ & salle à manger très jolie & très propre, incluant les fenetres. Je le mentionne, car ca démontre beaucoup de soin. Le playlist était moins à mon goût mais le reste du monde aime beaucoup Elton John & les Beatles, alors je ne peux pas vraiment protester!

I read the reviews but didn't ‘get' them until I sampled the food here for myself. We had the tasting menu & what can I say, the trust in the chef is 1000% warranted! Everything was sooooo good but the evening belonged to the porterhouse steak, done to medium rare perfection. The staff were attentive & always checking up on us, such great & genuine service. If they were open tomorrow, I would be back but they close on Sundays - Tuesdays. I guess genius needs longer rest to recharge! Love it, will be back, unforgettable!
Six of us immensely enjoyed our first visit. Our taste buds were tantalized with each exquisite dish. Loved the emphasis on supporting local producers while honouring Italian traditions. The meat dishes were cooked to perfection!!
Delicious food, ingredients for each dish were carefully considered, unique & well-balanced. The service was excellent, staff were welcoming & warm. Lovely dining area, fortunate to sit outside along a side street. A great birthday dinner on a visit to Montreal.
Food was great but horrible service. The hostess was more than rude. She rushed the table to have us leave within 1h40 without mentioning it at reservation. We ended up to leave the table 3h30 after seating..... Impasto remains the reference in the neighborhood.
From the moment you step into this fine eatery the staff & owner make you feel welcomed & appreciated. Mucca is in a class of it's own for the quality & originality of all that is served,from entrees to desserts, a must if craving meats.
Moment très agréable passé chez Mucca. Nous avons pris le menu dégustation pour 2 (extra pour la coupe Porterhouse) & nous n'avons pas été déçu. Personnel attentif & à l'écoute!
