Food is fabulous. I haven't tried a single thing that wasn't packed with flavour & cooked to perfection. I've visited a few times & the jerk chicken roti (jerk chicken, period) & the lobster soup were my favourites so far. So I'm fairly new to Montreal & having lived in Toronto, it's very easy to find an authentic Jamaican spot. I had a friend mention that he knew a really good Jamaican spot & I didn't believe him until he forced me here. I've been here twice in the span of a week. Their food tastes authentic & you get so much food for the price. The first time I was there I go their Jerk Chicken meal, with Ackee & Saltfish Egg Rolls & a cup of Sorrel. Second time got the Fried Chicken Meal, with Ackee & Saltfish Egg Rolls & a Ting. While we waited the second time, they offered us a sample of their soup. It tasted like my mom's soup, I was so happy. Next time I go, I'll probably order that. All in all, it's far from where I live but don't mind making the trek & the people inside are very nice. You won't regret it. One more thing to add - Give me a bigger slice of that Mac & Cheese next time, please lolView more
