Everything about this cafe is perfect! I love the constantly changing single-origin beans & tea varieties. The bakery items are always on point, & the owner is so lovely & kind!

Wonderful coffee & tea shop with a lovely owner. She is very bubbly & shows genuine care into each customer's experience.

As it was my first time visiting, she offered me to try a sample of a tea I was curious about, made from coffee fruit!

They also have very cute decor & retail products, including specialty coffee beans.

For improvement: I did feel that the cafe was a bit too hot.

Objectively, Mr + Mrs M Magasin is one of the very best Coffee Shops of Montreal (perfected cups, talented barista, tip-top quality coffee, an Artisan experience as opposed to mass production). It is a third wave Cafe, meaning that their intent is to treat coffee as an artisan craft (focus on high quality beans, tip top roasting of those beans, careful transparent sourcing, anything that pertains to an artisan operation). Subjectively this is my #1 Coffee Shop in Montreal. Excellent service as well. Montreal is lucky to have a Cafe of this caliber.

I think this place is my favorite discovery this year. I like many things about it :

-The beans are changed often.
-The simplicity of the menu.
-The two types of coffee beans we get to choose from.
-The cardamom sourdough buns…
-The tea vs coffee menu.
-The conversations & sense of community.
-The space…it's not pretentious & is inspiring. Every single detail makes sense, is intentional, & personal to them…

In my weekly new coffee quest I've stumbled upon Mr + Mrs m, & I got to say it's hard to not fall in love with this coffee !

While quite small, everything is designed in this space to make things cosy, from the custom skateboard decks stool, to the small blue details, down to each cup, you can tell this was opened with love & thoughtful passion.

In the cup, two choices of bean were offered to me & I opted for the natural roast in a cortado. Let's not beat around the bush, the ratio was perfect, the milk temp & texture were worth every cents I paid while the cup & the tray really elevated the whole experience.

This coffee has character & its barista really try to make a connection, with such interesting employees I do wish we had more of a eclair coffee where you could sit by the counter, but either way it was delicious !

Like walking in a Copenhagen coffee shop with the design furniture, homemade ceramics & quality beans.
