The food is DELICIOUS!!! A must visit if you lose seafood & boils. The crab cakes were great, le petit ocean was more than enough for 2 people. & reasonably priced too!
Amazing experience !!! After being disappointed with Seau du Crab, we wanted to try another seafood boil restaurant.
This was hands down the most amazing dinner/seafood boil I had… we were even debating on visiting the next day for lunch 🙈it was THAT good !!!

Came to Mr Cajun a couple of months ago, & have been itching to return since.
The food was amazing & the service was great. There was not any music playing, so the atmosphere wasn't the greatest but it was a good time nonetheless.
As a seafood lover, this place was awesome. The flavoring does get repetitive if you're only doing the seafood boil but that doesnt change the fact that it tastes great.
After trying seau de crabe twice & being beyond disappointed I was ready to feel the same about this seafood boil. Happy to say it was the exact opposite. Mr. Cajun's boil was spiced & cooked to perfection. Everything was very fresh & the portions were generous. The garlic butter dressing added some extra flavour. The service was fast & lovely. I will definitely be back!
Delicious, well spiced, great quantity of food. My friend & I shared the small sea boil for 2 people & we both left full! Good vibes too, server was friendly

I recently had the pleasure of dining at MR CAJUN with a group of seven, & the experience was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff who immediately made us feel at home. The atmosphere is vibrant & welcoming, perfect for both casual meals & special occasions. We started with a variety of appetizers, including the perfectly seasoned crab cakes & the freshest oysters we've ever had. Each dish was a delightful introduction to what was to come. For the main course, we indulged in an array of seafood options. The crawfish boil was a crowd favorite, bursting with flavor & cooked to perfection. The shrimp & lobster dishes were equally impressive, with generous portions & exquisite seasoning that highlighted the freshness of the seafood. What stood out the most was the impeccable service. Our waiter was attentive & knowledgeable, ensuring that our glasses were always full & our needs were met promptly. The staff's enthusiasm & passion for their cuisine truly enhanced our dining experience. MR CAJUN is a gem for seafood lovers. Whether you're craving a hearty seafood boil or a refined lobster dish, this restaurant delivers on all fronts. We left with full stomachs & happy hearts, already planning our next visit. My wife & I are from East Tennessee, & we were vacationing in Montreal for a few days. We were staying about half a block from Mr. Cajun, & after walking past it a few times, I decided to try it for lunch while the girls went out. I had never had a crawfish boil, or really any authentic Cajun food, but had always wanted to try it. I decided on the shrimp & crawfish boil, & I was not disappointed! The food was cooked to perfection, & the Cajun seasoning was something I wish I could bottle & put on everything we make at home. 😂 The server was extraordinarily friendly. Even though I do not speak French, he made me feel welcome by genuinely smiling & spoke in English to make me comfortable the whole time. We are having a great time in Montreal, & I definitely don't think this will be my last stop at Mr. Cajun!
got the small ocean seafood boil, mozzarella sticks, & cajun fries. this was def a lot for two ppl since the small ocean comes with two decent portions of rice. mozza sticks & fries were good! for the seafood boil it would have been nice to have a sauce on the side to dip in cuz some pieces coulda used more, but overall we had a good exp here :)
This was a really fun experience & would recommend for a date night. That being said the service was lacking: drinks coming late, appetizer ordered never came. With some strong customer experience training this could be a hot spot. Also it would be good if the seafood boil came with tools as much of the ratio is crab legs.
An expensive version of Captain Boil with shrimps that looks very average. Overpriced. Quality ok. Slow service when you get there & no one come to see you. Crab. Cake was made of some mystery meat.
