Review Summary

Moose Bawr comes across as a lively, affordable bar with friendly staff and a strong drinks program that many reviewers enjoy for casual nights, sports watching, and hanging out with friends. Several notes praise the food quality as solid pub fare and the fries and chili dishes, plus lunch specials and good value on drinks. The atmosphere is described as loud but fun with a classic bar vibe and music, making it a go to for groups, though some find it noisy. There are some drawbacks mentioned, including worn menus that are hard to read, occasional slow service or timing issues with drink and food orders, and a perception that certain items like a hammy hot dog are overpriced for what you get. Reviews show a mix of experiences, with overall sentiment leaning toward a reliable spot for a casual game night, but not without caveats about menu options for vegetarians and the pace at peak times.

I really like this bar, the music is good & at a volume that lets you chat, the prices are excellent, the food tastes very good, & the best part is that the beer is so cold.

We wanted to find a place for our after work drinks & this was perfect! They were playing loud early 2000's music, the service was excellent & there was free popcorn! We tried a bunch of the shots & cocktails from the menu. I would defiantly recommend the Sweedish berry! We also ordered poutines, they were decent but a little bland. The atmosphere was fun & they also had VLTs!

An Okay place to have a drink, music wasn't very appealing so I didn't stay long. I might try it out again sometime in the future.

Awesome food! Must try the "Dawgs"
Great prices for top quality, vast menu with many Sangria options that are delicious! The decor is original, modern, place is clean, staff is friendly.

Ideal for Hockey game night, girls night out, chill-ambiance (nice crowd, & good music) & terrace available! You have to try it out for yourself to see how much this Bar is a little hidden treasure in Montreal.
