We ordered takeout last year & found their foods were surprisingly good even after 45min back home. A year later, finally get the chance to try it on the spot. Excellent food.
Recommend to try their rock bowl bibimbap, at this particular restaurant, their bibimbap just taste different after being charred by the bowl.
Their seafood Spicy Tofu soup is also very flavorful, I'd say almost the best we've tried around Montreal. Is has a very deep seafood umami.
The seafood pancake, was alright, although we found the portion a bit small, not worth $18... Their fried chicken is decent, wish they could be crispier & the portion is also quite small for $40.
Overall, this is a very good Korean restaurant (in the top 5, of the ones I've tried) & definitely recommend you to try it out if you are around the area. 👍🏻
This place is absolutely amazing. All the foods are tasty & VERY AUTHENTIC. I'm a Korean & even among Koreans, their food is popular. Some of you might think it's slightly expensive than the other restaurants but it worths the price.
Suggestion: better reserve the spot on the weekend to make sure you can dine in.
Great spot! Korean food was on par with what I had when I lived abroad in Korea. I was very surprised when the gamjatang had Parilla leaves in it. Solid spot for Korean food on the shore.

OMG the food was sooooo good! The staff were incredibly friendly & kind to my mom while we waited for our order. We had a long day driving back from Montreal, & my friend recommended this restaurant - she did not disappoint! This was my first time having Korean food, & I will definitely come back. My mom & I both got the Japchae & the pork mandoo, & everything was absolutely delicious. My mom's phone was running low, & the staff were so thoughtful, letting her sit inside to charge it while we waited for our takeout. Such a warm & welcoming experience, & the food made it even better. Highly recommend!
I really enjoyed the food & the presentation of the food. But I have to frank, it is quite an expensive price tag compared to other Korean Restaurants that we've gone to.
One of the best Korean restaurants in Montreal! The portions are huge, & you can't go wrong ordering anything from the menu-it's surprisingly authentic, even better than many places in Korea. Must-try dishes include the bone-in fried chicken, kimchi pancake, seafood pancake, & BBQ bulgogi. The only downside is that the restaurant is quite small, so there's almost always a wait.
We made a reservation two weeeks before for a Saturday. When we entered they said they forgot to tell us but weekends it's only 1.5 hrs sitting! It seems they rely on their own Korean clientele community.
The food was absolutely delicious - I ordered the Bibimpam in a hot stone bowl & it was packed with flavor, perfectly balanced, & beautifully presented. The rice had that perfect crispy texture from the hot bowl, & the vegetables were fresh & well-seasoned. On top of that, the restaurant was spotless - very clean & well-maintained, which made it even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Korean cuisine in a nice setting!
Amazing Korean restaurant!
The Bulgogi set & Yukhoe Bibimbap (a rice bowl topped with fresh raw beef & vegetables) were fantastic.
Beautiful presentation & generous portions.
I heard the chef already has many years of experience in Korea.
Even non-Korean guests will enjoy the authentic yet approachable flavors.
From what I can tell, it's already well-loved by many guests - booking ahead is a good idea, especially on Friday nights.
One of the best korean restaurants in town. Everything tastes perfect & fresh. The best items are probably the beef tartare bibimbap with a good amount of beef & delicious vegetables or the bulgogi on a sizzling pan. The price is a bit more expensive than some other korean places but it's definitely worth it. There's parking outside & you can reserve. Take out is also very convenient.
Food was delicious! I think this restaurant is authentic. The best Korean restaurant in the south shore that is actually run by Koreans. Although the dishes are a bit on the pricier side, the quality & taste is worth the price. I recommend the spicy pork (jeyuk) as it had a nice grilled flavour & was well seasoned. The dolsot bibimbap came pipping hot & the rice was super crispy. We also ordered the galbitang which had a nice clean flavour. We saw a lot of locals ordering that too. The seafood pancake was also a home run. Nice & light. Perfectly crispy & not too much batter. Will be back again!!
The dishes tasted great. It was a little pricey, but worth it. The side dishes were great. It's hard to find a good authentic & family owned Korean restaurant on the south shore.
