Great food, but severe service issues

The food here is genuinely delicious because it is full of flavor & with generous portion sizes. Unfortunately, the overall experience was significantly let down by poor service & staff efficiency.

We placed a takeout order at 5:30 PM & were told it would take 30 minutes. After waiting over 45 minutes, we noticed our food had already been packaged into containers, sitting out & getting cold, but not bagged. When we politely asked the cashier about the status, she dismissively mentioned it was a busy Saturday evening. However, the dining area was not visibly overwhelmed (because all the tables have been served), staff were standing idle, & online delivery orders were being prioritized over waiting walk-in customers.

To top it off, when we arrived home, we realized our order was incomplete because the included miso soup was missing. Given the lengthy wait & unhelpful attitude of the staff, we decided it wasn't worth going back to request it.

In a customer-facing business, staff should be welcoming & professional when responding to basic inquiries rather than defensive. It's disappointing to receive an incomplete order after such a delay, but I share this feedback in hopes the management addresses the staff attitude & order accuracy. The food is great, & better front-of-house organization would make this a fantastic spot.

We've been to this place quite a few times & were amazed each time by their food quality. This might be the best Korean restaurant there is in the great Montreal area.

The fried chickens & the BBQ section are all very good, same goes with the various soups.

Sometime in the weekends there can be a huge wait time though. Pricing is slightwr higher than average but the food quality justifies it.

5 étoiles, c'est trop peu. Une cuisine toute aussi exceptionnelle que le service. C'est tellement extraordinaire qu'avant même d'avoir terminé le repas, on se demande déjà quand on pourra y revenir!

We were disappointed after eating as we had higher expectations seeing their stellar reviews. Bbq pork is way too sweet & lacks flavor beyond sweetness; bibimbap (bugolgi) is quite expensive at $25 & while it tastes good, it is small in portion size & beef amount is way too small; I was only 1/2 full after eating. The fried chicken was crispy but lacks much seasoning. Overall mediocre but considering the portion value ratio it is poor.
Maybe we have had very good Korean food in the US (Fort Lee, NJ & Fairfax, VA) before but in Montreal it is hard to find any good authentic restaurant we are disappointed. But here taste is mediocre but if portion size is good, we would at least be a little happier.

Food was really good. Portions were large, prices reasonable.
Japchae was nice & so were our Bibimbap.

Came here for dinner with some friends & we loved our meals. The seafood & green onion crepe was my favourite closely followed by the bulgogi bibimbap. The pork dish could've used a little more salt. If you like kimchi get a side of the homemade stuff! Only thing I would recommend is to call for reservations because when we went there was no online platform & I guess my email didn't make it (thankfully we were able to get a table no problem!)

On appelle pour réserver (google map indique que la réservation est obligatoire). Au téléphone, on nous explique que c'est premier arrivé premier servi… On arrive au resto, on nous dit que nous aurions dû réserver… Je… Laissez faire d'abord!
