First time here & food was great! Heaping portions of poutine. Atmosphere is super cool, especially on a beautiful day. Service was a little slow but seemed like there just weren't enough servers. Would come back for sure!
Montreal Poutine has cool vibes & great food. It's near the port & old town so the location is ideal if you are exploring the area & hungry. With the dish in its title you would that the poutine is good & I can confirm it's very tasty. I also enjoyed the smoked meat & they have a great selection of beer. The staff are very friendly & the dining room is a cool place to relax & enjoy your meal. Prices are a bit high with it being in a touristy area but you get good value for your money.
Excellent ! Poutine au poulet pour moi, & assiette Smoked Meat pour monsieur, la serveuse était tout simplement adorable, & la poutine exceptionnelle, c'est la meilleure que j'ai mangé pendant mon séjour à Montréal !
Very slow service.If there is any competition in the world then this one will get a 1st rank. What a waste of time just for poutine.They took 1 hr to prepare 1 poutine. Avoid this one if you value your time.
If you order drink then they will serve you fast otherwise no.
The one star is only because I can't give less than one.
From the beginning, the experience was disappointing. We were a group of 9, & we were told they could not accommodate us at one table, even though there was clearly another group of 9 seated together inside the restaurant.
After we placed our orders, the food arrived very late, & some dishes were missing altogether. I ordered a green salad with grilled chicken, but the salad was completely drenched in oil. When I brought this to the staff's attention, the only response I received was a simple apology, with no attempt to resolve the issue.
To make matters worse, they automatically added a mandatory tip, claiming it was their policy for groups larger than 8 people, even though we were seated at two separate tables.
As we were leaving, we noticed that they had rearranged tables to accommodate another group of 8 people. When I asked why they could do it for them but not for us, they said they were'not allowed' to move the tables & then closed the door in my face.

Nos hicieron pedir comida, porque no podía ser solo bebida, y no era válido pedir lo más económico de la carta (ya que no queríamos consumir nada), tuvimos que pedir un plato, que evidentemente a parte de tardar, sabía a rayos

Ordered the poutine w smoked meat. Absolutely delicious. The portion size was generous, served in a lasagna style bowl & piled high! The beer selection was good & the draught was cold.
Service was warm & welcoming from start to finish.

La nourriture en soi n'est pas en cause, mais la bouteille d'eau en plastique, obligatoire car on nous a refusé le verre d'eau, est à 4 $. On nous a donné un bol trop rempli, une partie de la poutine se renverse sur la table durant le service : le serveuse nous dit de remettre le tout dans le bol alors que la table n'était déjà pas très propre. De plus, on a attendu au moins 35 minutes pour une poutine, alors que le restaurant est tout petit. Décevant.
