Service très décevant, J'ai l'habitude de manger chez Monteiro à Montréal, mais cette place m'a vraiment déçu, l'employé a la caisse (portant des lunettes) Aucun accueil ni politesse il attend just que ont lui donne un tips, on ne m'a même pas répondu à mon bonjour. J'ai commandé une poutine XL & j'ai reçu une portion moyenne , il n'y avait pas de sauce & on m'a dit que la sauce était en extra. Expérience très décevante

Client fidèle depuis des années, je suis extrêmement déçu par la dégradation brutale de votre service. C'est devenu tout simplement médiocre.

J'ai tenté de vous joindre pour une précision importante (ne pas mettre de sauce), & la réponse de l'employé a été inadmissible. On m'a littéralement envoyé balader en me disant :'Je ne peux rien pour toi, j'ai trop de commandes'. Parce que je connais bien les propriétaires, j'ai voulu leur donner une chance & ne pas les pénaliser à cause du comportement d'un employé, mais là c'est trop.

La qualité n'est plus du tout au rendez-vous. J'ai reçu une poutine avec seulement deux pauvres morceaux de poulet &, pour couronner le tout, les frites n'étaient même pas cuites. J'ai essayé de vous appeler 4 fois pour signaler le problème, mais vous ne répondez même plus au téléphone.
?C'est dommage, mais vous perdez aujourd'hui un client de longue date
Honestly I can say with 100% confidence that @monteirocanada caught me totally off guard! At first I was a little bit skeptical thinking how good can a fast food chain really be & how different can it actually be to other fast food chains that lose quality as they franchise. I was extremely surprised on how delicious the food, the quality, the amount of food that you get for the price actually was. 10 out of 10 would recommend!
We got two of their Express bowls on their $10.99 menu & really packed full of flavor. The first one was the traditional Portuguese Express bowl with chicken mixed rice vegetables & the second had a little bit of a tex mex twist with guacamole, sour cream, a little bit of cilantro honestly really all components are tied together super well & what's nice about it is you can also pick your level of spiciness that you would like.
We also had to try their other menu items like their half chicken, chicken combo plate honestly super amazing came with fries rice salad & we accompanied it with their barbecue sauce. So FLAVORFUL, fall off the bone tender really well cooked also has a good Char flavor as well & value-wise for 10.99 can't get BETTER.
We also got their Portuguese chicken sandwich again spice level at the max but extremely flavorful very tolerable for people who like spice their home cut fries or delish their sauces that come with it are surprisingly different from other sauces that I've had out there & really help everything stand out! Value for price in terms of a fast food spot I cannot recommend this place enough really even if you're just looking for a great meal sit down it's a fun spot with multiple locations around Montreal!
Ordered through doordash yesterday. I got the quarter legs with extra protein. The extra protein were small pieces for $6. & my plate came to $20! The chicken is flavorful but the rice lacks taste. I wish they added a sauce on the rice because it was kind of dry. Potatoes are regular. There should be a sauce on the side that comes complimentary with the meal. Salad was ok.
I had Monteiro yesterday for the first time ordered through Uber, a 2 for 1 on the TexMex bowl.
The food is delicious, a lot of flavor but i can't justify the heavy price (18.99) for a small portion of chicken. The ratio of rice/ sauce vs protein was too high.
I will try again but what i had yesterday was good but not worth it.
I do like the idea & Portuguese food in general. I will give it another try!
Delicious food & friendly service. The location is perfect as well near cote vertu metro. Their wings & combo with spicy sauce are my favourite orders. Super affordable as well. Highly recommend this place!
