A good Indian restaurant. Good food, decent environment, a bit delayed service. I tried the restaurant's food twice, it didn't disappoint at all. They still need to work on lighting up place & cleanliness. Also, you can always do better when it comes to food.
If, you are Indian food lover, this place must visit in Montreal, 1. Food- food was amazing, I tried both veg & non neg all are just delicious, the best part they serve papad first. 2. Service- Really good they have buggers to call the servers that part I really liked Atmosphere- for me its perfect fine dine with some wine 😄

My visit to Mont Everest Masala Indian restaurant in Montreal was a good experience. While the biryani & thali were okay, what truly stood out was their shrimp with coconut base, which was incredibly delicious. The restaurant had a pleasant ambiance & comfortable seating, making the dining experience quite enjoyable. If you're a fan of flavorful shrimp dishes, this place is definitely worth a visit.
I ordered pick up. The service was fast enough. I ordered samosas, they were ok, the naan bread was not good: it was doughy,,, not like a regular traditional naan bread. It could have been better.
My main dish was very good & tasteful though, I had a chicken Madras.
Compared to other available options for Indian food in Montreal, I wouldn't personally recommend this place. It isn't that the service speed is bad, but my friends & I found the food only so-so. The dishes aren't flavorful & in my opinion, you might miss the authentic tastes.
Veggies Samosas, Masala Tea - not recommended.

Beautiful atmosphere! You’ll feel like you are in South Asia right after entering the restaurant! Our server was a young man who was a friendly decent person. Food was served quickly & all of the items tasted really good! We will definitely visit again next time when we are in Montreal!
Endroit vieillot & mal décoré. Cuisine réussie & avec un excellent rapport qualité prix. Service ultra lent & pas professionnel. Si vous avez du temps allez y pour la bouffe mais n attendez rien du reste.

Amazing food! I am rarely happy with Indian restaurants in Montreal but this place was a pleasant surprise. We had Salmon pakora, the grilled platter & butter chicken with some naans. The kebabs of the platter were delightful - succulent & perfectly spiced. Service was great & very reasonably priced too!
Mon commentaire va à l'endroit de l'équipe qui j'espère le recevront avec ouverture. Mon but n'est pas de contribuer à faire fermer un restaurant de plus, mais plutôt d'encourager de meilleures pratiques.
Nous étions assez emballée d'essayer ce restaurant, mais nous n'y retournerons malheureusement plus. Il y a deux erreurs de compréhension dans notre commande, puis, après ajustement, nous avons reçu nos combo incomplets. Les pakoras sont arrivés à la fin du repas, au moment de payer, & nous sommes restées une bonne heure sur place. La personne qui m'accompagnait n'a jamais reçu son breuvage, & bien que nous n'avons pas pu consommer en temps - ou tout court - deux sélections dans notre commande, on nous a chargé le même montant total sur la facture.
J'ai aussi été très déçu par le pain naan qui est généralement le truc par excellence dans les restaurants de l'Asie du sud. Celui-ci était tellement mince qu'on aurait pu penser à un pita, & l'intérieur était complètement cru (très, très pâteaux).
Pour ce qui est de la qualité des plats que nous avons reçu, ce n'était pas mauvais, mais ça méritait plus de générosité en termes de quantité (légumes, panneer, etc.) dans le ratio sauce/protéine, disons.
Je suis désolé de venir avec ma brique & mon fanal, mais je pense que ce sont des considérations qui doivent être lues par l'équipe de gestion du restaurant, & transmises à l'équipe sur le plancher.
