(updated) This is my favorite cafe/pub in the neighborhood. Great food. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, drinks are all great. Friendly staff, chill atmosphere, local products & fresh produce. Highly recommended.
Plus de papier pour essayer les mains dans la toilette, bouteille d'eau sur la table ultra collante, saumon confit qui ressemblait à un saumon congelé acheté chez Costco avec du fenouil bcp trop huilé. Le service était quand même ok.

Most chill people have met. The food was great. My highlight was the thick juicy bacon that comes with the eggs & potatoes. The potatoes are well seasoned too. Would recommend.
Very nice café with good ambience for brunch & fresh products (specially the mushrooms since they have a partnetship with a local producer that you can even buy to take home) Some plates mexican inspired just in case you want to get out of traditional brunch menus. Very polite service & price was decent. Recommended will definitely come back for dinner ( some days they have live music)
The interior of Monk Café is beautifully designed, creating a wonderful ambiance. I'm giving this place 5 stars because the customer service is outstanding. The owners genuinely care about their business & quickly resolved any issues we had, which made us feel truly valued as customers. The drinks are fantastic, & the staff's service & attitude are impeccable. Plus, they show football matches, which my bf absolutely loved. The atmosphere is lively & inviting. I highly recommend visiting Monk Café - you won't be disappointed!
Une oasis au coeur de Ville-Émard sur le boulevard Monk. Tous les plats étaient EXCELLENTS. Je donne la note de 6 sur 5. 😉 Assiette de perchaude, salade césar avec poitrine de poulet, frites maison, chou-fleur grillés.

Stumbled upon this Café at dinner time & was a pleasant surprise. Had the chicken burger, was crispy & juicy & the sauce with the avocado slices, all flavorful & delicious
Expérience incroyable au Monk café ! La serveuse était tellement gentille & professionnelle, le service fut rapide & la nourriture était délicieuses 🤩 je vais y retourner à 100%
Our favourite Cafe! Varied brunch menu, great coffee & friendly service. We brought our dog on the terrasse, & there is a park just across the road. Electric car charging right outside with high capacity chargers a short walk away.
Came here for dinner when I was in town w/ a friend for the Montreal f1 weekend. The staff were great & greeted us as soon as we went in. Our waitress was very sweet & charming. The food was exceptional. I got the salmon pasta & it was amazing, & a healthy quantity of food. Beer & food was priced well. Atmosphere was great. Cool, subtle, with good music. Bonus was that my friend & I got to see a firefly (that was glowing) in the restaurant. 1st time ever seeing that & it was awesome. 10/10 place. Would go again next time i'm in town.
