We had a wonderful experience at Monarque! We were in a rush to catch a train, & the host, even while busy assisting other guests, went above & beyond to help us finish our dinner in time. The food was amazing, & thanks to their thoughtful arrangements, we enjoyed a delicious meal without any stress. We didn't get the chance to say thank you in person, but we're truly grateful & will be sure to visit again-highly recommend for both the food & the fantastic service!Voir plus

Tried celebrating a birthday dinner here & it never disappointed being heralded top 11 in Canada's best restaurant list. The interior though is crowded but well trafficked. Some tables are near each other though so not really intimate as you may hear the chatters from nearby tables. Food was up par though with the great restaurants we have been too. Just eat with an open mind & you are in for at treat with novel but symphonic degustation.Voir plus

The chic decor & attentive staff stood out. The pretzel was fantastic, hot from the oven. The octopus was good, though the chorizo was a bit strong. The steak was juicy, & the duck had nice flavors. The cheesecake was a bit dry, & the prune compote overpowered it, though the figs were fresh. Overall, the price was fair for the quality. Worth a visit!Voir plus

This restaurant definitely offers an upscale dining experience, with'luxury' meals that are beautifully presented. While I didn't personally enjoy every single dish we tried (found it under seasoned or just not flavourful), I'm still glad we gave it a shot because it was a fun & unique experience. The atmosphere was elegant, & the service was okay, making it a place worth visiting if you're looking for something special & don't mind splurging.Voir plus

Beautiful restaurant, the food was delicious, the service was extraordinary, the staff was super friendly. Ranked one of the best restaurants in Canada, the visit is totally worth it. They have an interesting menu of food & a very extensive wine menu. I would recommend this restaurant for any special occasion or for a nice dinner with friends.Voir plus

The restaurant provides a good dining experience with decent atmosphere. We came for a business dinner with a guest speaker. It also seems like a pretty nice place for dates. The food is decent, but obviously portion is relatively small as a tradeoff for the experience.Voir plus

Superbe endroit! Gastronomie fantastique! Même si les portions paraissent petites, elle sont très bien faits, pas de sensation de faim ressentie. Cependant, les tables sont très proches, je ne suis plus ma conversation, & j'entends le dialogue des autres ce qui perturbe l'atmosphère.Voir plus

We went there for lunch, restaurant part. The food was excellent, I'm picky & I can say that it was very good. I took : the cauliflower soup : creamy with chunks of cauliflower a little bit sour (excellent) veal cheek : extremely tender, the sauce is excellent Atmosphere is nice, not too loud even if we were in a corner, that helps. Expensive around 50$ for my share before taxes/tip, they could improve the best value. I will come back.Voir plus
