Service friendly & courteous but not polished as in other mid-top tier establishments in Montreal. It was good not great. I didn't feel special.
Bread plate had sliced bread from a bag & cold. Cheepens the experience. Steak although good quality meat, wasn't cooked as ordered.
Overall average. Small adjustments will make it great a great Montreal dining experience worth the price.

We were a group of 4 & our bill was over $700 but the service was lacking for that price point. Waiter was nice but seemed to have too many tables. Manager (woman) seemed miserable & we even overheard her swearing to other staff. This should not even be acceptable at Baton Rouge, let alone Moishes. I was looking forward to the revamp, design was great, ambiance/music definitely lacking. Manager & greeting hostess could use some training in upscale service. I've been to my fair share of expensive restaurants, & have no problem spending this money if the service & food come along with it.
Food was amazing, but unfortunately we won't be back.
via LibroWhile the steak (Porterhouse for two @ 180$) was first rate, what really caught my attention on this visit was the value-priced Bordeaux on the wine list. We enjoyed a 2015 Margaux for 150$ with a 91 Wine Spectator. It paired very well with the steak.
via LibroOur waiter forgot to bring us our steak sauce. The steaks were a nice cut but they had no salt. We had to ask for salt. My steak was overcharred & gave it a crunchy exterieur. I was not a fan. The lobster Mac & cheese was delicious. Mashed potatoes missing salt. Our server Danny was nice.

via LibroThe decor was beautiful, while keeping to Moishes original concept. The food was good, but not amazing. The thing that ruined our visit though was the service. Often we were waiting for someone to come see us, we received the wrong food & we're told that's what we had ordered, even to the point where we order a steak with the bone in, there was no bone, & the waitress asked us to look for it at the instruction of the chef. We sat with our finished plates for at least 30 minutes, & another 30 minutes for someone to bring us the bill, & the bill included the more expensive steak that we did not receive. Sadly, not the same experience that they used to offer, & we will not be returning or recommending Moishes.
via LibroL'endroit est magnifique & la qualité de la nourriture excellente. Toutefois, en raison des prix, nous nous attendions à un meilleur service. Nous avons dû attendre pour passer notre commande de vin, ils ont oublié le pain que nous avions demandés, nous avons demandé à 2 reprises d'avoir des assiettes car nous partagions les plats. Ce qui a rendu la viande froide. Désolant dans le contexte du prix. Merci spécial pour le dessert offert.
