Charming terrace (be sure to choose a table on the park side, as the street side can get very noisy during the day), friendly service, & a varied menu.View more
The mac & cheese & mashed potatoes were delicious (girl dinner). The asparagus could have been better. They were very kind & accommodating to our large party. Love the bubblegum jar.View more
The food was delicious! Probably one of the best steaks in town. I ordered bone in ribeye but I realized there was no bone in my steak & I wonder if they are usually served like that? Also the waiter was friendly but he forgot some of our orders several times. All in all, I would definitely go back for the amazing food!View more

Delicious steak & lamb. Great service. Very nice decor.View more
Tous mes bons souvenirs de Moishes disparaissent rapidement. Le service n'est pas à la hauteur des prix chargés. Plusieurs visites mais aucune amélioration.View more
Meilleure expérience de restauration de l'été. Digne de sa réputation. Tout est bon, un gros coup de coeur pour l'agneau d'une tendreté, ça fond dans la bouche!View more
The service was great Gabrielle ( our waitress at the bar ) was great. The place is very nice, good vibe. The steaks were good, but i have to be honest, i've had better for quite cheaper. I paid 250$ + 35$ tip for two. I went to Maison Saint-Paul, Keg an other steakhouse in Laval that were all cheaper & as good or better. Again, not saying the steak wasn't good, but it was, but i can't justify their pricing. I will be going back to Maison Saint-Paul next time.View more
Steak, pickles & coleslaw. That's all you need with a nice drink of your choice & you will have the time of your life. Superb restaurant, superb service. Pricey, but again, you get what you pay for.View more
It's probably not going to remain open in the long run. We were thrilled that they reopened after being closed during COVID-19, but the new location has no soul...it looks like any other steakhouse. They no longer serve latkas, which was a staple of the old place. Horrible fois gras. Steaks, as ever, are good.View more
This was our second visit to Montreal & our first time visiting Moishes. We actually heard about it from buying the Moishes pickles at a grocery store so when we found out there was a restaurant we had to go. Moishes did not disappoint. Everything was incredible. The food, atmosphere, & service were ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. We had the Oysters, & the New York Strip. I'd recommend both as they were both amazing. The complimentary bread, coleslaw, & pickes were equally as delicious. Our sides were salad for me & lobster mac n cheese for my wife. Both were amazing. We are adding Moishes to our list of places to visit when we come back to Montreal next year!View more
Serveur très courtois mais le hamburger n'était pas très fameux.View more

This may be a nice looking restaurant that caters to a new clientele but has zero relevance to the great restaurant Moishes was for 80-years at its original location. The feel & the food have changed generally for the worse. Reading reviews, this is now catered to tourists in old Montreal & the local business community. The new owners tried to elevate it to the point that they've ruined it. Moishes was forever known as a Jewish style steakhouse with its flavours & iconic dishes to match. It seems that all that remains is the Monte Carlo potato & the shish kebab all at double the price, but nothing else. I would have paid 4x to enjoy the food & experience it once was but that ship has sailed. To describe this meal, 2 of 4 steaks were completely the wrong temperature & reluctantly needed to be sent back, the branzino sat above a gritty pesto & the special chicken tasted oddly sweet. We were forewarned by friends & family that they've tried it once & some twice & all swore to never return. What a shame that we've lost a piece of our heritage & are left with a completely different restaurant that has lost the ambiance & taste of its former self alienating its very loyal clientele. Maybe Sportscene should ask itself why they can't fill the tables the way the former incarnation did.View more
An experience to try. Food is very good. The cocktail was refreshing. The server had a great knowledge of the wine list.View more
