I dont usually do good reviews. It's expected to be good when you pay a fortune now a days. It should always be great service & very tasty, but tonight. Wow. The butter chicken was amazing. Thr beef was amazing. Even the veggies were good. Thr Naan bread amazing. It felt a little rushed. But we walked in 45 min before closing. All around I'll give this place a 4.8 out of 5. I'll diffinitly be returning. Thanks to the restaurant next door (le blue) who after 40 minutes of sitting their with 0 service.... I got up & walked out starving.... luckily. I would never of found this gem..I'll be back for sure. I have eaten Indian food all across montreal south shore & Toronto. This was thr best Indian food I've had.
We love indian food but unfortunately we will not be returning here. Staff were courteous but the apetizers were left on our table without & serving utensils to serve ourselves. Even the rice dish arrived with a teaspoon. The main beef I have with this restaurant is accessibility & noise level when larger groups are enjoying themselves. The space should be limited to tables of four. Understandably they want to cram in as many hungry customers as possible. I managed to enter the restaurants with assistance of my friend, but I was seriously apprehensive about leaving with my disability & hurting myself because there is no accessible ramp. Luckily on leaving a gentleman effectively assisted me safely to the sidewalk.
I heard nothing but good things word of mouth for this restaurant & every time I walked by, it smelled delicious & couldn't wait to have a time to go. When making the reservation on google, I saw all kinds of reviews that were throwing this place under the bus for service & small portions etc. The service was incredibly friendly & attentive. Food was quick, hot & delicious. We were 2 & ordered a meal for 2 & had to bring half home. I don't know where these other people who wrote those reviews ate but it definitely wasn't here. Best Indian food I've had in a long time.
Sat outside & enjoyed an authentic Indian meal with 7 others including kids. The service was great, the food came in good time, & the price was reasonable. Already recommended to others!

We had 3 a la carte dishes : the Butter chicken, the Madras lamb & a mixed vegetable dish. The butter chicken was the only dish that dissapointed as it was under spiced & just overall bland.
The Madras was excellent with a very nice kick & the vegetable dish was excellent as well. Great ambience as well being in the St-Lambert village & all. As an Indian restaurant on the south shore, it's pretty good though a tad on the expensive side considering the same meal can be had for almost half the price in Park EX but then again, this is in St-Lambert. Recommended except for the Butter Chicken.
My husband & I love Indian & we were very very impressed! Food was excellent, flavourful & delicious!!! The best indian we ever had! Every bite was a discovery! I am anxious to bring friends, family & business partners here. Even if they have been open for least than two months it shows that they have other restaurants. Great & warm service by the owner himself! Small & cozy. Can't wait to try the terrace this summer.
