One of the best Arabic restaurants I've tried in Montreal. The food was fresh, flavorful, authentic, & fully halal. The mixed grill & appetizers were amazing, the portions are generous, & the atmosphere is beautiful. The service was super welcoming & professional, & everything came quickly. Definitely a place I'd come back to with family & friends
The best Lebanese restaurant in all Montreal! The food is so authentic & full of flavor, the portions are descent, the atmosphere is charming.. & the prices are super reasonable! But above all, what would always make me come back is the exceptional warmth & welcome we get constantly from Rahaf over there.. she truly deserves a shout-out!!

I recently visited Mirage Restaurant, & it was a delightful experience, as always. The ambiance is charmingly Moroccan, with decor that captures the warmth & vibrancy of Morocco! I always enjoy their half chicken served with perfectly seasoned rice & as entry I love their lentil soup. The flavors were authentic & rich, clearly crafted with high-quality ingredients & traditional techniques. Our waitress was incredibly warm & attentive. Overall, the service was excellent, & the food quality consistently impressive.
Let's talk about the food & the quality. I'm rating their so called breakfast menu. The quality is not great, yes the food seemed to be made fresh however that is as far as they go to giving you good food. Do not get Zaatar, because they have taken the word zaatar to literally & dowsed the soft (perhaps uncooked) bread with zaatar. clumpy. Zaatar for those who actually know what it should taste like, should be a little on the crispy side & the zaatar in olive oil should be in-printed into the bread base. I'm not sure what sure what oil is used since all you can taste & see is the overload of zaatar. Generally it should be made with the healthier oil like olive oil not using inflammatory oils like vegetable oil or canola! The breakfast menu is very expensive & the food is not good. So skip it. Most small dishes are around $9-$10 mark. A little tip as a middle eastern place. When someone asks for tea in a pot , don't be cheap & use one teabag better yet if you're supposedly authentic then use real tea, not tea dust in bag. Also no one wants bright yellow tea! Now the environment looks good & clean however the booth seats are uncomfortable & over powering candle smells everywhere which is not heathy to have at any time let alone when trying to eat! However to be fair our server was nice & accommodating to anything we asked. :)
Been to Mirage twice. By far it is the best Lebanese/Syrian restaurant I tried in Montreal. A big shoutout to the chefs & owners for delivering authentic Syrian food. It is the restaurant I take non Arabic friends to to impress. Price range compared to quality is really fair & not expensive. Service is great & the atmosphere is amazing (Arabic music played in the background & the interior decoration is wonderful).
