Mintar est un petit café chaleureux dont l'ambiance conviviale et le service attentionné reviennent souvent comme points forts; la carte variée couvre le petit déjeuner et le déjeuner avec des cottage cheese pancakes, des omelettes, des sandwiches au halloumi et des bols variés; le café et les pancakes sont fréquemment salués et le croissant pistache est particulièrement apprécié; quelques avis signalent toutefois un café parfois brûlé ou un espresso trop extrait et des boissons trop lactées; l'espace restreint et le bruit peuvent rendre l'expérience moins confortable pendant les pics d'affluence; malgré ces bémols, Mintar est souvent décrit comme une véritable pépite montréalaise, avec une atmosphère agréable et un personnel chaleureux qui donne envie de revenir pour tester d'autres plats et boissons.
The owner is kind! All the staff put love a d care into everything they make. A warm & welcoming atmosphere with great coffee & tea selection as well as healthy bowls & shakes.
Be it coffee, be it the sandwiches, the flavours are on point.
I recommend the classic sandwich & the chicken sandwich over the rest. It's delicious.

Another gem in the city, if you're in town, do yourself a favour & come grab a bite or a drink, hospitable owners, friendly staff, & best of all, delicious food. It goes without saying that the coffee is exceptional as well.
Quaint coffee shop that serves amazing breakfast items! My friend ordered the cottage cheese pancakes & they were delicious! I ordered the omelette sandwich & the portion was quite generous! Only downside was that the side of potatoes tasted under seasoned. Def a hidden gem!

I was truly impressed by the staff's attentiveness, politeness, friendliness, & proactive approach. Rare qualities, I seldom found in any other cafe in Montreal.
Ambience is good enought to dive in to a book.
The coffee was decent & served in a cool cup. The Almond croissant felt a bit stale so i left it midway. Will give benefit of doubt here.
Overall a descent experience, The staff definitely outshines as compared to other cafes.
Visited once again: Service top notch, very welcoming. Delicious omelette sandwich & decent coffee.
Great spot amongst the city. Some space to eat in comfortably. The coffee was delicious, on the darker/strong side but well made so it was still a little sweet & nutty. We had the egg & halloumi sandwich & it was very tasty. We'll seasoned & not too bready. The staff was quick andl friendly. It's the only place in memory that actually asked how we liked the coffee while waiting for our sandwich. We'll be back for sure.
Honestly, 10/10! The service was amazing, the staff is extremely helpful. The coffee & the food were top notch. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend.
