I thought I wasn't a sandwich person until I came here.

We ordered the breakfast egg + halloumi sandwich, & the cottage cheesecheese pancakes.

The quality of the sandwich was perfect, each ingredient fresh & in perfect ratio. The potatoes were delightful.

We can't wait to come again!

Very nice spot to grab a coffee & to enjoy an amazing & tasty breakfast. The staff is very kind & welcoming, which become rare in a lot of similar businesses in Montreal. I love to seat there twice a week, for 30-45 minutes & check my emails before heading to work. The coziness of the place is great.

Very good smoothie bowl with granola, banana strawberries. Good coffee & chocolatine or pain au chocolat. Ambiance is good & enough space for a quick breakfast.

Our family of six had breakfast here. We ordered matcha latte, iced matcha, macchiato, cappuccino , steak & egg sandwich, chicken sandwich , egg & ham sandwich, & pancakes. Their pancakes tasted really organic & fresh; all sandwiches were freshly made & delicious, but the steak sandwich was particularly tasty. The space is tight though. But I love the city small cafe atmosphere.

Randomly walked past this place on a Saturday morning & decided to pop in & honestly it's one of the best spontaneous decisions I've made in a while. The menu has this really cool Middle Eastern influence running through it that sets it apart from every other café on the street. I got the halloumi egg sandwich & I was still thinking about it the next day, no exaggeration. The breakfast sandwich is also really solid, well seasoned & a decent size, nothing feels skimpy or rushed.
Coffee wise I had a cortado & it was exactly what it should be. Whoever is making the coffee clearly knows what they're doing. Also tried one of the smoothie bowls & that was a great shout too.
The inside is really cozy & the music they play is actually good which sounds like a minor thing but it makes such a difference. Staff were super friendly & helpful without being over the top about it. Asked a few questions about the menu & got real genuine answers.
Been back a handful of times since that first visit & it holds up every single time. If you're anywhere near the Plateau & you haven't checked this place out yet you're really missing out. Go get the halloumi sandwich & you'll see what I mean.

Mintar is my sister & I's go to coffee spot. Not only is their coffee phenomenal but the service is outstanding every-single-time. Coming here feels like home. I highly highly recommend trying their special where you get a small coffee with a breakfast sandwich for 8.99$. The food here is ridiculously good. Important to note that they are also consistent:) They're also one of the only places that offers a cardamom latte, which is our favourite. Shoutout to the employees of Mintar, we LOVE y'all❤?

We stopped in for a coffee & breakfast today, the host was great, he explained the menu in detail, the food was delicious, I had a Latte & my partner had an Americano coffee, definitely recommend
