Mintar est un petit café chaleureux dont l'ambiance conviviale et le service attentionné reviennent souvent comme points forts; la carte variée couvre le petit déjeuner et le déjeuner avec des cottage cheese pancakes, des omelettes, des sandwiches au halloumi et des bols variés; le café et les pancakes sont fréquemment salués et le croissant pistache est particulièrement apprécié; quelques avis signalent toutefois un café parfois brûlé ou un espresso trop extrait et des boissons trop lactées; l'espace restreint et le bruit peuvent rendre l'expérience moins confortable pendant les pics d'affluence; malgré ces bémols, Mintar est souvent décrit comme une véritable pépite montréalaise, avec une atmosphère agréable et un personnel chaleureux qui donne envie de revenir pour tester d'autres plats et boissons.
Go-to cafe in Montreal. Perfect place to study with the best food, coffee & treats. You NEED to go here. Also the staff is remarkable; always attentive & never fail to make you feel welcome
Cute cosy cafe with good coffee & tasty breakfast. We had two sous-marins (sub sandwich, one chicken & one veggie), iced latte, iced americano, almond croissant & Nutella horn. (We ordered more than two person portion.) Only high tables & bar style tables downstairs & big one table on the (half) upstairs, but we liked the vibe. Employees were friendly & nice as well! Would like to visit again.

Oh my goodness me!!! I had the L'ouef Halloumi & iced Macha latte & it was amazing, hats off to the chef. Donna is so kind & sweet, even when I asked for more potatoes & hot sauce 😁. As someone who is in Montreal for the first time, what a lovely experience. The cafe is super intimate & so cute :) I will be back tomorrow morning for the smoothie bowl 😊
Such a lovely cafe! The staff is incredibly friendly, & was constantly making sure everyone was enjoying their drinks & food (which were delicious)! The vibe is great, i highly recommend trying it out
Super cute little cafe with great coffee & incredible breakfast sandwiches. Staff was also very friendly & everyone seemed happy to be working there which I think is valuable. We will definitely be coming back during our stay here.

I enjoyed an iced latte & my family had a smoothie bowl & sandwiches. Portions were generous & they looked delicious. Warm & welcoming staff. Older cafe decor & space for one large group & several small groups of two.
Super café, bel endroit bien situé en centre ville, patron & staff très accueillant.excellent choix de thés, cafés, & gâteaux orientaux. Je recommande fortement 😊😉😇
My family & I wanted to give this place a try due to its high rating & I DEFINITELY see why it's so high! The Ham & Egg sandwich is phenomenal & the latte was delicious as well 🔥 My family also greatly enjoyed the food & drinks they had as well 🙏 wonderful small cafe that I would HIGHLY recommend 👍
The L'oeul Halloumi was bland & the lettuce in it was old. We got 2 matcha drinks & it was grainy but good matcha is hard to find. The order was around $45 & was not worth it. The cafe was cute & hopefully it was a one off & hopefully they work on their matcha drinks.
Warm & cool interaction with the staff. Always chill & welcoming. I love their close relation to their family & close friends that come & enlight the place with genuine interaction. Regarding their coffee, it is very good. Their La marzozzo machine rocks! Then I took some photos to promote their great cafe! : ) Long live to Mintar !
Such a hidden gem in the middle of downtown Montreal! I came here to study with a friend the cafe is laptop friendly & very accommodating! We also grabbed lunch & their sandwiches are honestly mouth watering!! Would 100% recommend

Great place. It's a nice little cozy cafe with super kind workers. The food is great, tasty, homey & healthy. The ambience is calm & comfortable. Would totally recommend & can't wait till my next visit to Montreal to come again
