The grilled cheese was incredible! The saltiness of the cheese & bacon was perfectly balanced with the sweetness of the caramelized onions. The sourdough was perfectly toasted as well, soft on the inside & crispy on the outside. The pancakes however are good but definitely overhyped & overrated. I wouldn't say they're the best in town.
The big downside though was being rushed to leave 30 min after getting our food. The place was super busy so we understand the time limit. However, we still had food on our plates & we would've appreciated a better approach from the waitress on this matter. Maybe tell your customers about the time limit before seating them?

Just an overall strange experience. Came in on a sleepy morning & were the only ones in there. Got the most watery filter coffee i've ever gotten in a cafe. The waiter could not say a menu item they eat on the menu despite being there 4 1/2 years. I might start walking out when i hear that from here on out. Only got two sandos. 16$ for a bfast sandwich is nuts compared to whats on the street. a single pancake to split which just had chopped cold bananas on top for their specialty. Dropped 50$ on the meal & was constantly being upsold by the waiter on more items. The sandwiches were also just cold & not cooked w love. just a disappointing find in the neighborhood. felt a bit scammed.
A true breath of fresh air. The atmosphere is classic without feeling pretentious, which is so refreshing. The food was excellent, & the service was warm, attentive, & welcoming. Would absolutely return.
Great little hidden gem. Salome's service was next level, attentive without feeling rushed, super welcoming, & she really cared about the details. You don't get that kind of service often. Will be back soon! 5/5
Ordered house ice tea & the pancakes, paid extra for the strawberry toppings.
The tea was extremely sweet & the pancakes were quite ordinary & nothing I couldn't make at home with store-bought pancake mix. I was surprised to find that the strawberries I paid extra for were frozen & not fresh. I got 3-4 strawberries for the price of a full bag of frozen strawberries.
Left well fed but regretting the visit for the quality & price of the food. Staff was super attentive & friendly!
Wow talk about deliciousness, I'm almost upset I didn't go for breakfast here every morning during my visit. But I'll correct that mistake next time! Go & get the bacon & pancakes!
