I've been a customer of this place since they opened over 25 years ago… but no more.
The new owners simply don't understand the definition of customer service. It's sad as the original owners were so good & welcoming… going out of their way to offer a great service.
It cost me over 300$ last week with my family (for appetizers & beers) & after a full 2 hour wait we still hadn't recieved our main meals.
Having 2 young kids with us we decided to leave & grab fast food instead… not great at all.
The worst thing was the owner… arrogant, no simpathy or empathy at all! Acting as if he already had enough customers & did seem to mind losing a few along the way.
In anycase… they have now lost a 25+ year customer & I will bring my business to their competitors.
Amazing beer & that's pretty much it. Waitress was really rude. Food was meh.
We have always loved this place & go very often. We heard there are new owners. For the first time the service was not good. It is 3 pm, not busy, very few inside & the terrace is about half full only. Our server got us a pitcher of beer & she did not return until the pitcher was empty (only rwo of us were drinking from said pitcher). She served every one else even though they arrived after us. We never got any water. I went inside twice to ask that she come take our order, I was ignored. She finally came 30 min after she served the pitcher. We ordered & the food was served relatively fast afterwards. She also made a comment that we could hear, at our neighbors' table that she did not care that we were unhappy. It is too bad because we were very frequent customers & now this visit is making us question if we should return. On a positive note, beautiful terrace in the sun. Excellent appetizers. Good pizza. Prices reasonable.
The Saint Arnaud was very nice & we sat on the outside terrace. Service was impeccable with a large choice of beers brewed directly there & cocktails with non alcoholic varieties also.
The service was fast & friendly, the pizza was great, & I enjoyed their craft alcohol-free beer. The place had a nice vibe. We'll be back.
Beer's good, poutine & other comfort food was also good. The more elaborated food like steak, poke bowl & hamburger steak is really bad. Avoid it at all cost. We had a very young waitress serving our table & she was very disrespectful, specially at the end demanding a bigger tip even though she didn't deserve it & food wasn't good. I hope her manager notices what she's doing or she's gonna keep making this restaurant lose business.
I usually love micro-brasserie beers so I just had to try Saint-Arnould. So far, I had Marie Framboise & the La P'tite Intrigue & they were both excellent...to the point that now I need to go back to try some of the other selections, along with a proper meal...even if it's a one hour drive, I'm looking forward to it!! Keep on brewing!!
Probably the best Pizza & poutine ever (smoke meat & pickles......mmm....great service & music & the beer is delicious
Fish & chips & beer are good, tartare is just raw fish with salad dressing
Well worth the visit! Great food, excellent service, the staff is amazing, smiling & doing its best to make sure everything is excellent! We even bought beer to go!
Great pet friendly patio with good food, beer & service, perfect to go on Sundays
Excellent beer & a kindly server who got us & our dog set up outside on a rainy day.
We stopped here for an afternoon beer & snack after a day of skiing. This place is perfect for that & that's what I'm basing my review in. Their craft beer is great & would purchase again. I also tried their clam chowder & it was delicious, especially on a cold day. The rest of the table had fries & desserts & everyone was happy. The waitress didn't speak a lot of English but was super helpful, courteous & efficient. The place was clean & not crowded around 4pm on a weekday.
One of my favorite restaurants in the Tremblant area, but finally getting to writing a review. During this most recent visit we walked in around 7pm without a reservation (I would recommend getting on in advance) we were seated in about 10min. The hostess let use know that the kitchen was backed up as she was seating us. We found that the food still came out in a timely manner & was exceptionally good in comparison to other brasserie styled dishes. We ordered the French onion soup, duck poutine fries & fish & chips meal. Every dish was very flavorful. The fish was cooked very well with a crispy crunch. In the past I've tried some of the burgers etc which are also good, but the fish & chips is what I'd recommend to a first timer. Be sure to try one of the Saint Arnould signature beers if you're of age. On this particular visit there was live music, an added plus.
