Afficher toutlebanese(87) recommend(85) fresh(66) quality(47) authentic(43) chicken(39) shawarma(37) hummus(37) highly recommend(34) clean(33) tasty(30) falafel(28)The staff was nice. However, the food was average. On the plus side, the ingredients were fresh, but the dishes had no flavor & the lack of flavor was masked by... sugar! The tabouleh had no flavor, nor did the grilled chicken. The prices were too high for the value of the food.
Very very tasty. Clean & fresh cafe. Hospitable staff. Delicious. Highly recommend
Delicious lebanese Mezze Would definitely recommend the Fattouche! All were fresh & flavourful
As a Lebanese who visited Lebanon a week ago, when my coworker told me to try this place, I was perplexed, but wow, it tastes better than in Lebanon! The food is super fresh. I had the classic 4 mezza meal with Eggplant Fateh (yogurt, fried bread, & fried eggplant dish). It was very good. The hoummous, mouhamara, & tabouleh were also very tasty & fresh.
Delicious food! The ingredients used are fresh & the mezze items are flavorful. I was especially impressed by the falafel - I don't usually order falafel when I eat out because it's oftentimes very dry, but at Mezzmiz their falafel was perfectly crispy on the outside & soft on the inside. I was surprised at how good the food was considering it's in an area that caters primarily to university students on a budget, but my assumptions were proven wrong. All the staff I interacted with were very friendly as well. My ONLY critique is that there were a few fruit flies buzzing around my table - it looked like they were also attracted to the recycling bin & plants in the front of the restaurant. I know it's hard to avoid flies especially in the summer, but I think if the recycling/trash is better maintained (maybe the bin itself needs to be cleaned out) & the plants replaced with fake plants, it wouldn't be an issue. Didn't detract too much from the meal, though. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience here. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Montréal!
I found out about this by my sister. I'll write my honest impressions: Very impressed with the quality of service. That & the food surpass my expectations & I've never felt this satisfied eating in a restaurant in a long time. Food is fresh & well presentable. So presentable that it will increase your appetite. I will repeat - I'm very pleased & I can tell that the ingredients are high quality. The floor felt a bit slippery when I walk in, unfortunately. The atmosphere felt cozy & welcoming, though.
Absolutely love the concept & it's so needed in Montreal ! Fresh Middle Eastern food, amazing quality & it gives us the opportunity of enjoying the Arabic style mezze (tapas) without breaking the bank . I got the 4 mezze platter & my favourites are Muhammara, Fatoush, & the halloumi on the side was also incredible . Their falafel is amazing as well. All in all, great experience .
It's rare to find a restaurant that combines quality of food & the service at the same time. I discovered Mezzmiz by coincidence & I'm glad I did. I tasted Lebanese dishes which are perfectly prepared with fresh ingredients. I highly recommend! Thanks again for the person who offered me the coffee, really appreciate it 🫶🏻
4 mezze formula with beef shawarma. Exceptional taste. Authentic & fresh. The 4 mezze bowls are a generous serving, even for the very hungry
Amazing place! I had avoided coming here because I thought it would be bad, since it was on crescent...but i was missing out! The food is incredible, so fresh & full of flavours, & portions are really good. It felt like we were eating high end Lebanese food but I enjoyed the laid back vibe....& the staff is INCREDIBLY nice. Oh, & the taste of the shawarma was just out of this world it deserves an honourable mention! This has become one of my favourite places in Montreal now. I'll definitely come back when I visit.
Best falafel sandwich in Montreal! Truly spectacular, with a lemon twist! Very fresh homemade ingredients. I want to return & try the rest of the menu. The staff work very hard to give you excellent service. The bathrooms could be a little cleaner.
This is Google 5 stars! All the food was so delicious, fresh, & amazing! The staff so friendly & professional & their recommendations were spot on. We were honest & told them we had high expectations because we had amazing falafel at our hometown deli; The staff was confident their food would meet our expectations. OMG! Believe the high ratings!
I have been to MezzMizz multiple times, both here & at their Time Out location, & they have never failed to impress with the freshness & quality of their food plus the warm hospitality! From the moment I was greeted at the cash register to being offered a free dessert sample, the staff go out of their way to ensure it's a great experience. This means a lot, especially considering it's a "fast casual" environment & my expectations are usually not so high. I will come back again & again for the wonderful hospitality & the delicious food. Try one of their multi-plate options so you can get a sampling of lots of dishes, can't go wrong.
These guys are incredible! I'm typing this while having my kafta & fattoush salad. Everything is super fresh. Taste amazing, very rich flavours & packaging is super modern & environmentally friendly. Love & recommend!
Freshest tabule I've ever eaten!! First time there last week & wow, the environment is beautiful. The service was very friendly & OMG THE FOOD. Already looking forward to go back
Very nice place good fresh food & very nice service super sweet, would really recommend the falafels & fattoush
The Falafel plate (with fattoush salad) & Zaatar bread was just 10/10. However the chicken shawarma could be better (chicken didn't taste super fresh 😔) There are nonsense homeless people who enter the premise & try to push people around(while standing in the payment queue). Kinda scary situation. 😔
The only place in Montréal that Indulge in the flavors of Lebanon at this charming restaurant. From aromatic spices to fresh ingredients, that's a Lebanese cuisine. I was really impressed about the taste, honestly! especially the beef Shawarma, zaatar potato, & the fresh fatouch. The kafta sandwich is also tasty, & I have no comments on it! But I didn't really enjoy the chicken sandwich because the garlic overwhelm the delicate balance of other ingredients, masking their natural taste. Consider toning down the garlic sauce to allow the flavors of the sandwich to shine.... because the only thing you taste is garlic, even i couldn't even taste the pickles inside of it... Concerning the price, it's a bit expensive ! 35$ for a trio is not that tempting to come back on a daily basis, but comparing to the quality i can understand. That's what i had so far, but definitely i will go back to try the brunch menu.
