One of the best Mexican restaurant experience I've had in Montreal. I would consider this elevated Mexican cuisine. They have a vast menu of both dishes & well crafted cocktails. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection, juicy, crispy when it needed & so flavourful. Our favourite ones of the night were the crispy shrimp tacos & patatas bravas. Highly recommend !!

A friend & I booked Mezcaleros for a pre-concert dinner since it's super close to the Rialto Theatre. The place is adorable & the host was really welcoming, but sadly, the food didn't live up to the vibe.
We each ordered a tapas & a tacos dish, hoping for some delicious Mexican flavors. My friend's ceviche was pretty bland, missing that vibrant, spicy kick we were craving. I got the patatas bravas, & they were a major letdown-super garlicky & the sauce was not good at all.
For the tacos, my friend's Birria tacos were just'meh,' & somehow I ended up with chicken quesadillas instead of the chicken tacos I ordered. They were completely tasteless, but we were in a rush for our show so we just ate them without sending them back.
We were so underwhelmed that we skipped dessert & just asked for the bill. To top it off, they weirdly split the patatas bravas charge between our two separate bills. It was a strange & frustrating end to a disappointing meal.
Overall: Cute spot & great service, but the food seriously misses the mark. If you're looking for authentic Mexican flavors, you might want to try somewhere else. Save your money & just grab a drink at their bar before heading to your concert!

The highlight of our meal was the tuna tostada (crispy, fresh, perfectly seasoned) & the Tulum, one of their house cocktails ($9 cocktails during their happy hour!), a stunning blue & as aromatic as it was colourful - very!
Unfortunately, the other dishes didn't do it for us. Their presentation was always spectacular but the taste just didn't match. Although the sauce was quite flavourful, the mole enchilada itself was very dry, & frankly tasted a little stale. The ceviche was bland. The peach cocktail was too watered down.
The portions were small for the price & the service was slow. We tried flagging a waitress several times to no avail, & they forgot a drink we ordered &, given we couldn't flag anyone, didn't get it at all as we had to leave.
I wouldn't mind returning if invited by someone, but this wouldn't be my go-to spot for more upscale Mexican food.
Fresh & mouth watering mexican food prepared by the chef. Cozy patio & beautiful lights made the evening mesmerising. The chef paid special attention to the spicy sauces we asked for & that really stole our heart❤?
The service & the food are next level. The best Mexican food I have had. We had the ceviche, shrimp & octopus tacos & the bravas patatas. Everything was delicious. The spices & portions sizes were perfect. The cocktails were perfectly balanced & yummy. Emilie & Léa were fabulous - friendly & knowledgeable.
I'd recommend this spot to anyone a thousand times over. Merci!

Very cute mexican Tapas spot!! Next to the Rialto Theater, my friend & I were looking to grab a quick bite before a live show. Very great experience, lovely staff & the bartender was sweet! Would recommend, the service, atmosphere & food were great! :)
Hands down the BEST Mexican food I've ever had in Mtl!!! Riccardo, the owner, is so wonderful & his dishes are EXCELLENT! Get the Mezcal sliders 😏 Shoutout to our sweet waitresses Anais & Emily as well who made the whole experience so much more pleasant!! Can't wait to go back 🤤
Great Mexican restaurant!! The drinks are delicious, beautiful & very affordable. The tacos hit the spot! My favourites were the birria tacos & the fish tacos. Overall everything was delicious & well priced. The perfect restaurant when you want to have a delicious meal amongst friends without breaking the bank. But what stood out to me the most was the exceptional service we had. Our waiter was very attentive & was honestly curious about our thoughts on the food/drinks. The tacos usually are 3 per order but they easily adjusted it to 4 per serving for the 4 of us which I thought was very accommodating. Definitely a restaurant we will keep coming back to.
Really ordinary Mexican food. Nothing really good nor really bad just not authentic. Example: Tacos el pastor is just strips of seasoned pork with chopped oignons & pineapple. They have 30 choices on the menu but a tiny kitchen, maybe offer less choices & do them properly... they are more interested in serving tequila shots than serving quality food . Too bad for a local place.
