We had a great dinner at Menthe & Couscous. The service is excellent. We were able to relax on their comfy seatings & choose the best plates with the help of our server. Everything is very fresh. I can highly recommend them.

A Perfect Valentine's Evening at Menthe & Couscous 💖

I had the most wonderful experience celebrating Valentine's Day at Menthe & Couscous! From the moment we walked in, the warm Mediterranean ambiance set the perfect romantic mood. The candlelit tables, soft lighting, & elegant decor created an intimate & cozy atmosphere.

The food was absolutely delicious-every dish was packed with authentic Mediterranean flavors. We started with the mezze platter, which was fresh & flavorful, followed by the lamb tagine that was cooked to perfection. My partner had the seafood couscous, & it was equally delightful.

The live music added a magical touch to the evening, making the experience even more special. The staff was incredibly welcoming & attentive, ensuring that every detail was perfect.

Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner or simply want to enjoy amazing Mediterranean cuisine, Menthe & Couscous is the place to be. Highly recommended.

My spouse & I had heard about this restaurant for a few years. Finally when the opportunity presented itself & we found ourselves in Montreal we planned ahead & booked this restaurant. Advance reservations highly recommended! The restaurant is fairly large with a bustling wait staff. The restaurant is decorated with Mediterranean & Middle Eastern lanterns & motifs. Our server was very energetic & the restaurant was very accommodating to modify the tasting menu per our dietary restriction. The tasting menu was highly recommended since the menu is quite expansive. The food came to our table promptly & was beautifully plated. The menu is on the pricier side but well worth it for special occasions.

We had some expectations & they were more than fulfilled. The place was packed, after telling the hostess that we had an anniversary she was quick to get us a better table. We had the tasting menu & it was simply fantastic, even the seafood tajine was heavenly. Highly recommended, great service, good atmosphere & fantastic food.

We ate here early December. It was our second visit & somehow managed to be even better than our first. We had the show menu & although it's very expensive, they give you an abundance of food. We had to take a doggy bag home. But if you go à la carte I highly recommend the delights for 2 as appetizers & the lamb shank tajine which are out of this world. Reserve in advance because it gets booked fast.

Our friends introduced us to this restaurant a couple of years ago & have returned for the 3rd time. The food is fantastic, very flavorful & varied. Ambiance is good, service is also good. The price is slightly higher than average but well worth the treat. I do recommend you try it.

We tried the group royal menu, which is made up of their best dishes. It was one of the best meals that we have ever eaten. The lamb shank tajine was our favourite. It's a little expensive, but there is lots of food & we took home enough to have lunch the next day. Service was attentive & friendly. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Montreal!

Menthe & Couscous has an excellent menu for those diners who enjoy a combination of flavours. The atmosphere is confident: the staff moves intentionally & quickly, without being hurried. The restaurant is full without feeling too busy. There are tons of people there & it's not too loud to have a good conversation. It's the kind of place where the waiter is inspired to try making some of the dishes at home in their spare time. The best part is that for guests who have food restrictions, from allergies to dietary requirements, the rotating series of staff who deliver each dish verbally articulate & affirm the allergen-free dish they are serving, which means the patron doesn't have to engage in a guessing game. We had a wonderful time & would strongly recommend Menthe & Couscous to anyone!

We had never been to a Mediterranean couscous restaurant before so went on recommendation of a friend. The service was exceptional. The food was unbelievably good & with deep rich flavours. Highly recommend.

Menthe & Couscous offers incredible Mediterranean cuisine with flavors that truly stand out. The lamb shank & lamb meatballs were perfectly seasoned, & the appetizer for 2 were fresh & delicious. The atmosphere was cozy & inviting, & the service was top-notch. I can't recommend it enough, definitely one of the best dining experiences in Montreal!
