We recently dined at Menthe & Couscous & it was a truly special experience. The restaurant has just a few tables, which adds to the intimate & exclusive feel. It's worth noting, though, that this can make booking a table a bit tricky. We really enjoyed the groupes royal menu concept, sampling a variety of dishes. Each plate was beautifully presented & packed with flavor. The portion size is big. The service was a highlight-discreet, friendly, & very attentive to details. It made our evening even more enjoyable. Overall, it's a fantastic spot if you're looking for an intimate & cozy dining experience with top-notch service, although booking ahead is a must!

A Perfect Valentine's Evening at Menthe & Couscous 💖

I had the most wonderful experience celebrating Valentine's Day at Menthe & Couscous! From the moment we walked in, the warm Mediterranean ambiance set the perfect romantic mood. The candlelit tables, soft lighting, & elegant decor created an intimate & cozy atmosphere.

The food was absolutely delicious-every dish was packed with authentic Mediterranean flavors. We started with the mezze platter, which was fresh & flavorful, followed by the lamb tagine that was cooked to perfection. My partner had the seafood couscous, & it was equally delightful.

The live music added a magical touch to the evening, making the experience even more special. The staff was incredibly welcoming & attentive, ensuring that every detail was perfect.

Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner or simply want to enjoy amazing Mediterranean cuisine, Menthe & Couscous is the place to be. Highly recommended.

Menthe & Couscous offers incredible Mediterranean cuisine with flavors that truly stand out. The lamb shank & lamb meatballs were perfectly seasoned, & the appetizer for 2 were fresh & delicious. The atmosphere was cozy & inviting, & the service was top-notch. I can't recommend it enough, definitely one of the best dining experiences in Montreal!

One of the best dining options in montreal. You eat real food there cooked to perfection. Everything is made with care & love. Team there is dedicated & they love their job. Ambiance & atmosphere is cozy with positive vibe always. An amazing experience. Try their lamb dishes, they are the best.

Meilleur restaurant à mon avis. Excellente serveuse,je pense son nom était Rémi. La nourriture était 13/10 nous avons découvert de nouvelle saveurs & c'était très délicieux. Ambiance très cozy

Valentine's evening was amazing. We had the pleasure of assisting at the violin music play & the bellydance show after. Romantic ambiance & cozy one. Service was as good as it gets. Amazing.

Amazing food. Lamb is the best I've ever tasted. Their spices are extraordinary. The couscous is fluffy & tasty with their sauce. I loved the decor & the cozy ambiance. Will be back for sure

Meilleur couscous que j'ai mangé à Montréal. Le jarret d'agneau c'est la plus tendre que j'ai essayé. Un service souriant & convivial dans une ambiance cozy & chaleureuse. On y retourne c'est sure.

Tajines + couscous dishes lacked spice, service wasn't great as we had to ask them for many things (they didn't check up on us at all). Ambiance was cozy however music was very disorganized & tables are very small.

This is not the first time I go to Menthe & Couscous & won't be the last. Homemade style food, excellent lamb shanks. Excellent friendly service & very cozy ambiance. Their terrace during summer is a heaven.

Best lamb couscous I've ever tried in Montreal. The meat is so tender. Couscous is fluffy & very well cooked with the sauce they give aside. The seafood tajine was really delicious. Nice cozy terrace. Highly recommended.

Excellent lamb tajine. I also took the moussaka & soup as an appetizer & everything was delicious. Their homemade bread is to die for. Excellent service friendly & attentive & cozy ambiance on the terrace.

Really a nice restaurant. Great food especially their couscous royal with the lamb shank, merguez & Chicken. Vegetables were cooked to perfection, yet not mushy or so soft, you can still taste them & they are chewy which I like.
Good ambiance with nice background music & very cozy atmosphere. You can smell the aroma of original food cooking which means they do things from scratch.

Excellent food. Tried their lamb tajine & couscous royal. Both were amazing. I liked the fact that their vegetables were not over cooked. The place is cozy & you feel the positive vibe in there. Family friendly restaurant & comfy seatings

Very good atmosphere & a cozy restaurant. Service was not great, they would not pick the plates for the entrees & you will be left with tons of plates on the table with no space to move. We were impatiently waiting for the tea & it was a great disappointment. Plain waiter infused with nothing with no sugar. Couscous was great. Overall good, but would not recommend it for a full experience
