We are visiting Magog for a girls weekend at a local spa.
We did a local search & Merchant stood out.
It's BYOB which made it perfect since we bring the wines we love to compliment such a wonderful meal! We had the Thai Shrimp, Salmon, burger & fish & chips. They have a very unique seasoning for their meats that is creative & absolutely delicious.
Our server was Alicia, she & her boyfriend own the restaurant. She was absolutely wonderful. We will be back. That's a promise.

Il faisait très froid dans le restaurant, la plupart des gens ont mangés avec leur manteau sur le dos, la musique était tellement forte, qu'on a dû demander de baisser le son car on était pas capable de s'entendre parler. La nourriture très ordinaire, salade césar très sec pas assez de vinaigrette, méchant burger, sec la viande se défaisait en morceau comme si elle venait d'être dégelé. Service assez ordinaire, il a fallu demander pour avoir du café & on ne nous a jamais demandé si on voulait un dessert.
Méchant Steak très peu pour moi.

Entrée : vraiment peu de calmars dans l'assiette assez que s'en était surprenant & ça manquait de goût. Assiette de burger, viande excellente & frites maison aussi mais aurait pu être accompagné de soit salade de choux, concombres pu quelques légumes cru au pire.
Bien en général mais un peu d'ambiance ne ferait pas de mal non plus, ça manquait de chaleur.
We were offered a bowl of soup & a burger for $35 & it was truly disappointing. However the people who have the $60 steak dinner said that it was very good.
